Having lived in Turkey for 3 years, we can attest that this restaurant is the most authentic spot we’ve found and the tastes of the food are incredible. There is nothing quite like Turkish food. Highly recommend any of the kabobs and be sure to get the Künefe for dessert!
I came here exclusively for the kunefe which was so crispy and cheesy and with just the right amount of sweetness! The atmosphere and aroma in this place are awesome. That kunefe though, that was amazing! Sorry for the pic, I couldn't control myself and took a few bites before thinking to snap a picture.
A very pleasant and upscale Turkish restaurant....great appetizer, main dish of sea bass and shoulder of lamb. Staff patient and polite...very nice inside. Try them when in nashville area...
We have been coming here since they first opened years ago. It’s one of our favorite restaurants. The service is second to none! Complementary bread service. From salads to soups to appetizers to entrees they have it all! Deserts and Turkish coffee are also available. We have had so many great and memorial meals here! I would like to give a special thank you to the owner operator and his long serving, loyal and dedicated staff! Best time to go is on a busy Friday or Saturday night.
They were able to work with price conscious foodie types, Soooo we were able to share' a excellent dish then enjoy their upscale foodie experience without breaking the bank! You can definitely have an upsale high level upscale meal, but they were humble enough, to make it work for usI I call this place 8Star Venetian because it definitely works into a romantic vibe! Excellent Baklava!
We went here for New Year's Eve Dinner and it did not disappoint. Service was excellent, food was delicious, ambience was great. I ordered Chicken Stew and enjoyed it, Baklava and Kunefe were on point. Very pleasant experience.
The staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was clean and bright. The food was amazing, I've had plenty of middle eastern food and this ranked in in the top 5. I had the mixed grill plate, 2 others had the lamb shiskabob and one had the biller kabob. This is definitely go back to place.
This is one of my all time favorite restaurants. I love the food. Everything I have ever had is excellent. I especially like the hummus, pita, grape leaves and rose petal jelly (an appetizer.) We usually get the house wine to go with dinner. My husband and I like to take our married kids out to dinner for their birthdays and this is a favorite place to take them, even though it is well over an hour from our home. The staff is excellent. They remember us and have always treated us very well. We love the atmosphere - quiet and elegant. It is a great place to linger and talk. The bread and oil are amazing!
