One of my favorite Indian restaurants in Richmond! Crispy veggie medley has always been a favorite over the years, but wish that there was even more cauliflower and broccoli - they almost made these veggies taste like wings. Curry is flavorful, and chili garlic naan was delicious. Dessert was an interesting take on ice cream cake.
Anant! Just like the name this place exudes joy to all its customers. The staff and the owners all are kind and friendly.
They take a moment to explain and understand what you want from your orders. The ambience is very welcoming and bright.
We loved their Egg Biryani
We loved their lamb seekh kebab
We loved loved their tomato soup
We loved the Naan
And their Shahi paneer
And the lassi :)
Heck everything that comes out of their kitchen is just a match made in heaven and palate friendly! They are so good!
All the food thats is served is always warm delicious and spiced perfectly. I was stunned to try the cassata cake as its a true delicacy from India! Been 2 decades since I had it. Reminiscing my college days…

As soon as you walk in , you can tell this place is amazing. Desiree greeted us with a smile and sat us down promptly. She was very attentive to our needs and asked questions about our preference on spice level. Now for the food, everything we had was phenomenal!!! Kudos to the chef...it was so flavorful. This is the best Indian restaurant we have ever visited.
Just visiting the area for a short time, was driving around and found Anant. I got the malai makhani paneer (mild) with some butter naan and omg it was incredible. I was so sad when I had to stop eating because it was that good. Inside was very nice, seems like a nice place to go for a date night or to order takeout if you want some bomb Indian food. If I lived near here I would eat here A LOT.
Our food was amazing as well as our waiter. He explained everything on the menu to ensure food allergies were met. The bartender was amazing she made my drink exactly as I ordered. I definitely will be returning here.
Everything was good, I really don't know the name of most items except curry chicken and butter chicken. But it was all good, we went today on 5/2/2024 @ 6pm. I did ask if they do military discounts, and they don't.
The food and service was top notch. Great recommendations from our server Gagan. Super delicious! Amazing ambiance… will definitely come again. I only took pics of one dish because I inhaled the rest, and the garlic naan was incredible.
