This is where I get all my tattooing done by Willie Stewart. I have a full wrap around sleeve, it has taken 8 years to finish (due to lack of funds on my end) but any time I walk in I am greeted by a friendly face and a professional attitude. I have found my life long tattoo shop, and hope you can fund yours here too. The pictures I have added are from while in at work, please look past the dirt.
Willie Stewart is the best! He’s kind and his work is top notch. The intelligent conversation is my favorite part of a session with him. Do yourself a favor and get tattooed by Willie!
Willie has done probably half a dozen pieces for me at this point including one sleeve, with most others being one session. He is really thoughtful as an artist, which is appreciated & does especially well with nature themed designs. Definitely hit him up for any fish/bird work!
I love the tattoo I got from Willie! I had certain things I was specific about, and certain things that I had no idea what I wanted and gave him artistic license to make it awesome. The finished product is awesome, I constantly get compliments on the line work, sometimes from strangers (who probably don't get it and think I am oddly intense). The timeline was drawn out, but that was more a factor of Willie and I having pretty opposing schedules. I was happy to have the time to contemplate the permanent fixture on my body! Is this a place to head down to if you want a drunken tattoo NOW? No, not at all. But if you are looking for something that is going to be right for you and look good, this is the place to go! I truthfully can't speak to price, I didn't care when it came to making sure we got it RIGHT, but it seemed VERY fair. I look forward to getting more ink at Ananda and working with Willie!
I would highly recommend Ananda as a place to get your tattoo. They have a fun and relaxing environment and Willie, who did my tattoo, is an amazing artist. He has done some of the best work I have seen and many of my friends have already asked about him and are considering using Ananda for their next tattoo!
I cannot speak highly enough about Willie and Al. I think they are phenomenal tattoo artists and I enjoy their style, attitudes, and their artwork. Book out ahead of time - these guys are worth it!!!
I had to walk out. The artist would not take what I was saying into account. After multiple times of reassuring me it’s small and simple, I get a gigantic, intricate monstrosity. And my whole day was wasted; just tell me you didn’t work on the design at all and it’ll take all day to complete. Then I can leave and come back, instead of waiting 4 hours, getting more pissed off everytime you say, “oh, just a few more minutes”, for four consecutive hours.
Worked with Willie... phenomenal artist and very patient and receptive to my desires in terms of my tattoo. I would highly recommend.
