My server Esteban is one of the best servers. He was very courteous and helpful explaining the many different options on the Anamia’s Menu. He was also quick to bring out our drinks which is helpful when the chips and salsa were brought out. He took our order and asked if we had any questions about our selections. I know, I know this should be standard actions in all restaurants but believe me I have been to high end restaurants and this does not happen. So I consider these actions outstanding. Most of all, my meal’s temperature was hot and tasted delicious. I couldn’t help smile as it was plated beautifully. Everything was excellent.
Our servers were excellent. Food had great flavor and the atmosphere is relaxing with a classy feel to it. He menu is large with many choices. Drinks were excellent and strong (in a good way).
Love this place. Great food, wonderful atmosphere, and the service is great. Our server Monica was so attentive!! We come here almost every Friday and it is the highlight of our week. The sign of a great restaurant is always a friendly and great manager. Alfredo certainly fits that bill. He is constantly circling the restaurant making sure everyone has what they need and are enjoying their experience.
We recently participated in a conference at a nearby hotel and had to feed 43 teenagers. At Anamia's, it was easy to talk through what we needed, order the meals, and their delivery was on time. They sent serving utensils and everything we needed to have a great meal. The food was delicious and the kids all said it was the best meal we had during our visit to Grapevine, Texas. Thank you, Anamia's for such a great experience!! We will see you again next year!
We arrrived without a reservation on a Friday night. There was an obvious wait, but since we were only two, we probably didn't even actually wait 5 minutes for a table. Were were sat in a banquet in the bar area. Overall this place is very well built and decorated. It has an elegant feel that is not pretentious and feels very open and comfortable. I did note the way they constructed the ceiling, which sounds weird but here's why: This buildling is part of a strip building and so has a very high roof. Rather than dropping in a ceiling, they left it open all the way up. All support structures, lighting fixtures, sound system, etc. are painted black but the cool part is that they installed sound absorbing insulation on the roof and it makes a world of difference in the overall sound level (din) in the restaurant. Even though it is completely open concept and it was packed that night, it was still very pleasant and comfortably quiet for conversation.
We were greeted promptly and we asked for a queso. Chips, salsa, and the queso came quickly and all were very good. I particularly like the tortilla chips. The thickness was just right: thick enough not to break in salsa or queso, yet not too thick to be overwhelming.
I did ask for a soda and it was served in a can with a glass of ice. OK, that is so odd for a place this nice that I can only assume their fountain was broken. It made no difference to me and I didn't even ask.
We had the Pollo con Hongos and a combo dish. Everything went very smoothly, the food came out quickly, and everyhting was very well done, nicely presented, and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the mushroom chicken dish. The portion was large and I had plenty left over for a next-day lunch.
Overall this experience was wonderful and I am looking forward to visiting again. Great date night spot. Lively enough to be really fun, but to loud to have an intimate dinner.
We were lucky enough to get Maria tonight. She’s awesome. She knows our drink order, from past experiences, and provides service with a big smile.
The food was great and the kitchen doesn’t seem to mind and delivered two over easy eggs on the enchiladas.

Anamia's Southlake is ALWAYS excellent: excellent food, excellent drinks and outstanding service, especially Moises! We have been coming here for years and absolutely love this restaurant and the entire staff! Just a fabulous place. We have NEVER gotten a bad meal or bad service.
