Overall, not bad. It is a Tex Mex chain so you can’t really expect anything spectacular but I think they could’ve done much better. It’s great that they do table side guacamole, this was a big hit with the kids. However, the guacamole was over salted. We also ordered the salmon and it was overcooked. You can tell that the ingredients were fresh and high quality but the execution was just not there. The burrito lunch special was not very special at all, it was just ground beef wrapped inside a cold tortilla. People go out to eat to have food that they can’t make at home, in my opinion, I could make their food at home and honestly, mine would probably be better. Service and atmosphere were great which is why I’m giving it 3 stars. And it’s not like the food was bad, it just wasn’t anything special.
First time there. Happened to be in Flower Mound and needed to stop to eat and took a chance. Oh, what a lovely surprise. Nice interior, helpful servers, full menu. We started with the tableside guacamole and it was the best I've had in years. Then we ordered lunch specials which we really enjoyed. The picture of the guacamole was taken after we'd been scooping it onto our plates. It was a large amount to start. We took the rest home. Very pleased with this find. Will definitely head there again the next time we're in town. Other meal pictured is the #1 lunch special, cheese enchiladas with rice and beans.
The tacos were cold and meat was chewy.
The taco has single tortilla. Why would they give cilantro and jalapeño separate when I asked to be part of tacos, is a mystery.
Guacamole was good. Their salsa seems to get sweet after first serving. Room for improvement. Overall a decent place to eat.
Great margaritas!! Food is excellent, service is friendly and fast. One of the most popular Tex-Mex restaurants in the area. A must try, you’ll continue to come back.
The patio was a good decision on a nice fall day. The food was great and our server was attentive but not overly so. Great drinks from the bar also. Try the Pica Pica for a spicy little kick in your cup. Brunch is also served until 3 pm and the breakfast quesadillas are top notch. Make sure to ask for them "well done" because they can get a little soggy pretty quick. Do not pass up on the fresh made table side guacamole, the gentleman who makes it is a flavor pro and lightening fast and his task. Great dining @ Anamia's!
The food is consistently delicious. The staff is even better. I asked for a custom order last night ... and they went above & beyond. I knew they'd help me out, but they exceeded all expectations! This is a true gem in Flower Mound.
This is by far our favorite Mexican restaurant. We’ve tried several in the Flower Mound area, and we haven’t found a place that can match the quality of the food, the staff, and the atmosphere we’ve found here. It is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. We’ve come here for years, and plan to come for many more!
Anamia’s Tex Mex is one of my favorite Mexican food restaurants! I prefer to grab a seat at the bar and Sandra takes great care of me whether I’m staying to dine or grabbing a drink while picking up my to-go order! When I’m with my family I enjoy the patio seating. Highly recommend when in FlowerMound! Cheers! ????????
