Stayed in room 161 - a lovely king room with outdoor patio leading onto the pool area. Really nice toiletries included with even a deep sleep pillow spray. Hotel was easy 15-20 minute walk to the parks. I walked back on my own after 10pm, area is very safe. Would stay again.
This place is a scam. Do not stay there. I had booked this hotel for a trip to Disneyland back in January. The location is within walking distance to the parks and is a well known name so i decided to book it for 2 nights. The rate that I booked on their website specifically stated it included parking for each night. Upon arrival I found the the hotel was very nice, well kept up and clean. Staff were friendly at check in. If I were just basing this on the property itself I would give it 5 stars. But upon checking out they emailed me a receipt and I noticed I was charged for parking for 2 nights a total of $80. When I called and emailed asking for a refund I was told no that parking costs per night even though I sent them my reservation email stating on there that parking was included they still claimed i was wrong and they were right. After a week of back and forth they still refused to refund me and were very rude to me. I finally had to dispute the charges with my bank who was able To straighten or out for me after another month. I will never stay at this hotel again and have stopped staying at Marriott hotels in general now because of the poor customer service experience I had
This accommodation is ideally located, with Disneyland just a 20-minute walk away and only five minutes by car. The bar offers an excellent selection of cocktails, and the staff is attentive and courteous. This experience contributes to a welcoming and enjoyable environment.
Check in was a breeze, self park in garage easy. The elevator system to direct you to quickest access to your floor worked really well. Our room was clean and didn't have any weird smells. If I had one bad thing to say it would be our room didn't face Disneyland to see the fireworks, but we didn't ask for one so next time we'll ask.
The Anaheim Marriott is a fantastic hotel, perfect for families with kids! The location couldn’t be better—just a short drive to Disneyland. The hotel is clean, modern, and well-maintained, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful. My son was sick at check in and the receptionist was incredibly compassionate. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family-friendly hotel near Disneyland!
This hotel was easy to find, clean, and the service was incredible. Super friendly, went above and beyond, even going so far as to heat up our food and host stimulating conversation when our room didn't have a microwave. Thanks Michael, you the best!
The door to our room was difficult to open and would not close without strong pulling. The first time we left, we almost didn't check, and our stuff would have been completely exposed. Normally hotel rooms have safes, but ours was also broken, which would have been a bad situation should the door have not been checked.
The hotel is about a 20 minute walk away from the nearest restaurant, which is doable for most.
Overall a nice experience. We only stayed one night but it went without a hitch. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The ice machine worked well, We went to the bar and the drinks were strong and tasty. The pool was smaller than on pictures and was also busy so that was the only downfall.
The rooms seems a decent size and came with a mini fridge. The beds were comfortable and appeared clean. There is an extra pillow and bed cover in the closet.
Nice hotel, horrible guest services. I spent a week at this property while on a work trip for meetings at the convention center. It is easy access to the convention center and clean. Unfortunately, while staying at the hotel, my credit card number was associated with another guest. When I brought this to their attention, they shared the name of the person that I was paying for, and told me that in order for me to get a refund, I would have to track that person down and secure a payment. So I went to work and found that person and got them to call in and pay for their stay. After completing that task, I called in to get proof that I was getting a refund on my overpayment. When talking to Serena, she said that they cant provide proof of refund for up to 14 business days. I explained that I understand, getting the money back can take that long and was acceptable, she then told me that to even get a receipt showing I was going to receive a refund would be 14 business days. I dont understand how they can say that they are giving me a refund, yet can not provide proof of that refund. I dont understand how they can make me find the responsible party and not take any ownership of the issue, but it seems like thats an issue with travelling as part of a large convention, so I give them somewhat a pass. In terms of customer service, listening to the customer and providing a solution, there was none. ||In terms of issues at the hotel, the doors that lead into parking lot dont unlock with your key as advertised. One of their maintenance people, who did happen to see me trying to get in one evening, told me that they dont work and its a known issue. Again, if you expecting guests to use your parking, maybe it makes sense to have the doors work. There was a fire alarm during my stay and while I was able to exit a door near my room, I then had to go to the main entrance because they havent put the money into upkeep of the property. ||Ultimately, its close to Disney and the convention center. They have the market cornered in terms of location, but if you have other options, stay at the Hilton across the street or a different brand of hotel because Marriott in Anaheim isnt a place you want to have issues.
