The lobby is beautifully decorated for Christmas! We really appreciated the shuttle service to and from Disneyland. It was quick and reliable. We were able to leave the park halfway through the day and make it back to the park before the parade. Now for the complaints…the front desk employees acted like checking us in was an inconvenience. The room was extremely dated. From the worn out mattresses to the creepy forest wallpaper to the leaky tub faucet to the thermostat that doesn’t even work.This place is in desperate need of an upgrade especially for the price. You are paying for the close proximity to the park…not the amenities at all. Also, parking for $25 a night is fairly typical in LA and surrounding areas. BUT to add a 17% tax is ridiculous. Overall, our experience was acceptable but we will not be staying here again nor recommending it to anyone.
Rooms are great - comfy beds, hot water, air conditioning works great, and plenty of lighting. Great little cafe, and a good sushi restaurant on site as well.
My only gripe was: that the room needed more power outlets to charge devices. Having lamps with power outlets would be helpful. I had to use up the last plug on a power strip that was on the floor for the TV to charge my devices.
I almost gave it the full Stars except for this hotel needs to change out their carpet and their curtains. But on a positive note hands down absolutely has everything a hotel could ever need to have a fantastic Disney vacation. Well worth the money the pool the spa were clean large and available we used the area we got to eat dinner next to the pool they have lots of seating there. The restaurants are convenient the bar is amazing the bartender even better. The staff at the front desk is kind and also provides fantastic service. The shuttle was super easy the schedule was fantastic nobody was left behind the right on time it is a well-oiled machine and is definitely worth staying at this hotel to be able to use their services. They also have a fantastic store that has anything everybody would ever want. The only thing that I'm going to let the staff know is that the coffee in the restaurant is atrocious and the coffee in the gift shop as well. Outside of coffee it was not enough to deter me from this fantastic hotel. The Landscaping is amazing amazing amazing amazing and they had set up a fantastic Courtyard full of decorations
I loved staying at this hotel. It was a wonderful experience. The rooms were nice and big. They had nice comfy bathrooms. The beds are comfortable. They have a nice couch inside the rooms. They have a shuttle that takes you straight to Disneyland which is awesome. It's overall a fantastic place. And they also have a game room and food you can buy and drinks. I think that's really really cool. What's not very cool however is that they only do every 3 days for room service and I think we should go back to the old days where they would clean the rooms everyday. But besides that, it was a fantastic experience. I would definitely recommend this establishment for staying in when you are going to see Disneyland.
Would be really great if the rooms were upgraded. The lobby and common areas were nice, the holiday decorations were wonderful but the rooms, not so much... We had a room with a king bed, when we walked in the room, we could see the sag in the bed through the comforter. To me, a good bed is important for a good stay, I don't think anyone likes sleeping in an uncomfortable pit. There was a nasty looking upholstered sofa in the room that was worn and dirty looking, we did not get near it! The bath had the most awful shower head the was almost touching the ceiling and could not be adjusted so it hit you right in the face. The water pressure was zero and the drain was clogged, the tub was 1/2 full by the time you finished showering. The sink also had clogging issues. If these issues could be fixed, it would be a great place to stay!
Bed was very comfortable, my autistic son and I both slept great. Buffet was worth the price, 4 out of 5 stars. Free shuttle was the main event. My son loves riding buses, even his school bus, so that was definitely his favorite part. Shower was 4 drips out of 5. Good pressure. Fridge although was a small dorm size definitely kept our drinks nice and cold. The decor for Halloween was great too! Princess Corine greeted me when I first came in to check in, but wish she was around more. My son never got the chance to meet her, and he would've loved to.
The hotel greeted us with a full display of fireworks from Disneyland! It was quite a welcoming party. Inside, there are things to do for everyone in your family. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was good - buffet or a full menu to choose from. There is also a free shuttle that takes you straight to Disneyland entrance. Overnight parking rate also included the next day until 11pm so there was no need to drive to Disneyland and pay for their parking also. Keep in mind just getting through to Disneyland can take more than an hour so this was a huge time and money saver. The shuttle goes every 15 mins.
We are regulars at this hotel. The location and shuttle service make this hotel a great option. The drivers are so helpful. However, we called a week prior requesting two cribs but never got them. We asked the lobby host again and no one came. No one changed our trash we had two babies and their diapers. Heat was blasted as hotel controls heat for entire hotel. Tub would not drain. We combined two bookings but instead of continuing our stay we were told we had to check out while our babies were crying. Overall bad experience with front desk staff. Cleaning staff and drivers are kind.
As a Disney hotel front desk need more empathy, patience, and understanding for travelers with kids.
