very tasty ice cream, tried oreo, butter cookies, mint flavors..all taste good.
When the staff and the website tells you their vanilla is their most popular, trust them on this one. I'm not a vanilla fan at all, but I wanted to try it since everyone keeps talking about it... My god. The vanilla here is a game changer, unlike any other vanilla ice cream I've ever had!
The vanilla was so good that I preferred it over other flavors that they had!
If you do see a flavor you want on the website, MAKE sure you call ahead and ask since different locations carry different speciality flavors!
Really good ice cream! I definitely want to come back and try other speciality flavors in the future!! A must visit!
Overpriced. Save your money and just go to HEB for your ice cream. I ordered a chocolate malt, and the teenager making it forgot to put in the malt. Didn't discover this till I got home...not worth the inconvenience to go back to correct it. Also ordered the two scoops of cream with caramel topping. I could have gotten a gallon of ice cream at HEB for same price. Won't go back to Amy's.
First time trying it this weekend, I really loved the Mexican vanilla flavor!
We got a banana split which includes 3 flavors of your choice, 2 toppings and 1 hot topping!
Interior is not fancy, but ice cream is always delicious. They also have pints and ice cream cakes to go. The shared play place out back makes this a go to with our kiddos!
We were in Austin for the weekend and I had heard a lot about this place from a friend. It definitely lives up to the hype. It was wonderful. The flavors were very tasty. The crew was super cool and friendly. The line was long, but it was knocked out quick.
Great! We brought our dog and they made us a pup cup! You can make any of the old combos as well so if you see something good that is not currently on the menu, they can still make it. I got cookie dough, oreo, and chips ahoy in Mexican vanilla on a waffle cone! It was good, but I think I had too many toppings to appreciate the Mexican vanilla everyone was talking about. I would like to go again and have maybe one candy/cookie in the Mexican vanilla to really get a taste of it!
We came in to Amy’s ice cream after eating next-door at Phil‘s. We purchased a pint of Belgian chocolate ice cream and a pint of cookie dough. The cashier was extremely distracted by another employee that was making ice cream scoops for another customer. She kept asking her what is it that you’re doing? Who did you give that ice cream to? She finally rang me up and I paid for my purchase. Today is two days later, and I made cookies from the cookie dough that I purchased. They are awful. I baked them for 15 minutes. The recommended time was 18 to 20. Had I baked them that long, they would’ve been inedible. As it is the entire outer edge of the cookies is burnt. These are quite possibly the most expensive cookies I’ve ever had. And, they’re a huge disappointment.
