Our handicap room was totally accessible, fairly clean, carpet was well worn. Good bathroom, full access. Bed was hard, A/C barely kept room cool. Breakfast was juice, bananas, apples, cereal, muffins, toast. Good value. Very nice friendly front desk.
I've had the unfortunate experience of staying here twice. I booked this place along a trip to and back to NH and by the time I had my first experience I couldn't cancel my second.
The rooms and hallways smell bad. The carpet is old and sticky I assume because it desperately needs to be cleaned. The elevator buttons don't work well or at all at times. The down button on the fourth floor didn't work, so I had to call the elevator to go up and then put in the lobby level. The inside buttons aren't much better. If you've ever wanted an experience where you have been so mad you could have pushed all the buttons on the elevator, then this place is for you.
The shower the first time we stayed was dirty and didn't drain. The second night it had mold that had been painted over.
The first night the bed had a wine stain on it, the second night, a coffee again.
We were eaten alive both nights by what I hope weren't bed bugs, but given my experience I don't feel optimistic.
The savings in price aren't worth the experience. Honestly camping in a tent is a better idea. Or sleeping in your car. Or not sleeping at all, just keep driving.
We just needed somewhere to sleep to break up a long journey and that didn’t cost a fortune. This hotel ticked all the boxes and was overall excellent value for money. It was a bit shabby but it was clean and the bed was comfy. Staff were friendly and the simple breakfast was ok considering it was free. There is a reasonably big car park, but we arrived at about 10 pm and got the last spot.
Last weekend,We were searching for a place which is not far from station and it matched .we stayed there for 2nights and my experience was not bad , but carpets weren’t clean enough.
We had a complimentary breakfast there which is a good enough for that price

We were looking for somewhere on our route to NYC but were looking for a stop along the way and somewhere not too expensive. It was dated to when it was built but who cares! It was clean! So clean! And when we called for a late check in they told us not to worry and to be careful driving. So sweet. Older hard beds but comfy bedding and pillows. They did everything in the room to try and make it a pleasant stay. The breakfast was some muffins and boxed cereal and juice. For such an inexpensive place I’ll take it! Free parking! No complaints. We stayed somewhere and big brand the night before that was updated, but way less clean, not as maintained and way more expensive!! I love this little place!
This hotel is disgusting. I am SHOCKED at how many reviews state that this place looked clean and that people were pleasantly surprised with their stay. From pulling up to the building, we knew it was likely to be gross. The outside of the building had stains and mildew on the windows. At first glance the room felt ‘okay’, at best. Shortly after, we saw bugs crawling in the bathroom and into the cracks of the tv stand. Our dogs were even barking to get out of the room. I am only giving two stars for service because the man at the front desk was pleasant and did offer another room, which is actually hilarious because rest assured when there are bugs in one room, they are everywhere. He mentioned he couldn’t give me a refund tonight and they would do it in the morning (7/2/24), may or may not update this review upon receiving my full refund. This place should really be shut down. It’s sad that we allow businesses to run in such a gross fashion and charge people to stay in such places. A health inspector would not approve.
Overall, my experience was excellent. Although the facilities are a bit outdated, the room was exceptionally clean and tidy, which is what matters most. The hotel staff were also very friendly, and the price was very affordable.
