Best WLM Reviews
After moving back to Manchester, I tried to become a new patient again after moving and being away for few years. I left a voicemail twice on the new patient line and it’s been 4 weeks and haven’t heard back. I really needed to see the doctor for care. I have 3 serious health conditions. I luckily got in at a different organization or I would have literally died by now. Horrible way to treat not just a patient but a human being in general.
Call early this morning when they first opened to make an appointment for my sick toddler and they had NO appointments open! Finding a new doctor for my kids! This place sucks! Taking on way to many people all at once! Screw you!
My experience with amoskeag health has been the absolute worst experience of my life. The doctors do not care the nurses do not care the assistant physicians do not care. I am a 60-year-old man with a very bad disease. Every single month I have to fight to get my prescriptions on time, every single month I have to do my own calling of the pharmacy calling of the doctor's office back and forth all day long because they do not care about their patients. My prescriptions for my pain medication or on review the whole day, it is the same prescription I get every month I would not recommend this healthcare system, it is all about the money for them they do not care. On top of my regular disease my toe was amputated last month my daughter is still to this day has not called me to ask me how I'm doing if I need anything I've waited for my prescriptions today and still haven't heard a word from her this place is an absolute disgusting disgrace. I have lost a toe because of amistake healthcare now my leg is swollen up again I have not heard from one single doctor nobody gives a s*** and trust me I will be suing this practice because most likely I will be losing my whole foot.
They kept me informed of everything and explained in detail and answered all my questions. The front staff that checks you in are always courteous and friendly. I have the best nurses (especially Lindsay) possible and the lab staff are excellent. Missing some staff recently, they had a nurse who was excellent but is no longer there (Heidi). Heidi and Lindsay are two incredible nurses as is my pcp Dr. Frenchi Winters. Blood lab ladies are excellent.
Absolutely awful. Commented on my original review asking me to call them; when I called, they told me I was no longer a patient (yeah, duh!). So they didn’t actually want to hear from me, they just wanted to leave a (poorly) written stock message to my review. Sounds about right for healthcare today.
So far I’ve been very happy with their care. Dr Goodwin is very caring and communicative and prompt in her responses. I’ve been able to get appointments secured for many things since switching to this office.
This place has really gone down hill. I've been a patient for about fifteen years. Went to their office several months back after being seen at the emergency room for an ear infection. Finished the medicine, but was still unable to hear anything out of one ear. The doctor (or whatever she was) walks in and says "I'm not perscribing any more medacine" first thing. Were talking ear infection medicine, not some narcotic. And it also says online that sometimes the medicine doesn't work and they have to prescribe a different one. Woman was extremely rude, when she tried to look in my ear, the instrument they use was broken. She tried to refer me to ENT specialist, struggled with that, and never heard from the specialist (she had told me, DO NOT CALL THEM, they will call you).
Then today I go for my appointment, which THEY had previously canceled. Took a day off of work. I don't drive, so I walked all the way to where I've seen the doctor every time for the last ten years. They tell me it's not at that location. It's next to CMC, which I had walked right by if they had clarified the location when making the appointment. I get back there, drenched in sweat. Ask if it's possible to be seen fifteen minutes or so late because I had gone to the wrong location. Explain I have a family member with cancer and I need to save my time off at work for that. They say I need to reschedule, there's nothing they can do.
Only visit this doctor if you have plenty of time to play endless games trying to be seen, don't mind extremely rude staff, and are willing to overlook broken equipment and being treated like you're a criminal just trying to get medacine.
I’ve been going to Amoskeag Health for a few years, but I couldn’t be happier with my experience with their providers. I’ve been having some issues with a care provider at another area medical facility and I was grateful for how quickly I was able to be seen and for how seriously my concerns were taken. It was a really nice feeling after months of trying to get appropriate care elsewhere to have someone who both listened to and genuinely cared about my concerns.
