It was kind of empty, but the service and food were spectacular. Beautiful dinner for me and my husband for our anniversary. Would definitely go back.
We ordered pizza forr years from another shop but it closed. Then we found Amore. I have to say Amore pizza tastes better, costs less and delivery is quicker than the previous shop we used to frequent. We always have delivery therefore no rating on the atmosphere. Amore always gets the order right as well. Our new favorite pizza joint.
So, the common theme in all of the many Palmdale Amore pizza negative reviews that I just read is not the food, it's the lack of service. In my case I was ordering for my team at work and wanted to try Amore out so I called them about 6 times between 1100 and 1110 and they NEVER answered the phone. They even set it to go direct to some noise program which was odd. Business 101 = If the service sucks, nobody cares if the food is good. It doesn't matter.
So, I called Riga Tony's pizza in Quartz Hill, they picked up on the first ring like they always do and 5 pizzas were waiting for me when I got there, as usual, great service, great food, no problems. So skip these losers and go somewhere that appreciates your business. Go to Riga Tonys instead.
Ordered $80 worth of food on their website a little before closing and the delivery driver dropped it off at the wrong house (I had called to double check it was infact delivery and they read my address back to me) My neighbor finally brought it to me after an hour and it was cold. Couldn't call because by that time they were closed. Called them the next day and they said they would call me back. Never did. So I called the next day and whoever I spoke to was extremely rude and didn't even care. What if my food never came? He said I would receive a call back again and still haven't. I've gotten food so many times from them and was really disappointed in their service. I didn't even get any sort of apology. Nothing. Also, the food is more expensive when you order online.
We ordered a total of two pizzas and 2 cannoli. We ate the pizza pretty much right out of the oven (because If that is not the best way to eat pizza then I don't know which one is) ???? Ingredients are fresh and the service is fast and great.
Parking is not an issue. Delicious food ????
Amore has the best pizza in thr AV for sure.
They deliver an it's quite a fast delivery so that's always a plus.
The chicken fettuccine Alfredo is also pretty amazingly delicious. The garlic bread is a must. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend.
Probably the best pizza in the AV. It's fresh, its got great cheese, and the pepperoni is absolutely fantastic. The only weak part is probably the crust, but with how delicious each bite is, you'll hardly care. The prices are reasonable and the staff is welcoming, too.
Amore Pizza is a real find – it's got that cool, hole-in-the-wall vibe that makes you feel like you've stumbled onto a hidden treasure. The pizza is absolutely awesome. Fresh every time. It's a nice change to have a local spot like this in a sea of chain pizza places. But, heads up, the drinks are kinda warm, even from the fridge. And don't plan on hanging out inside – there's nowhere to sit
