Best WLM Reviews
Superb cafe, wonderful collection of vintage items decorate the walls and ceiling. Plenty of space for laptopers to work in and for folks just wanting to socialize and refresh.
The bakery is wonderful , the apple cake and fruit tart were so good/ not too sweet and very delicious.
Visit again? Absolutely, can’t wait!
First time in North Carolina and my family and I picked Amelie’s to be the first place we ate when we landed and I must say that they did not disappoint! Everyone was so nice and the macarons are to die for! We will definitely come back before going back home!
Wasn’t the best french toast I’ve ever had, but the service was great and this is by far one of the cutest bakeries. So lovely to just walk around and look at everything. I would come back, maybe not for the french toast, but i’m sure they have great other options! It was not bad by any means, just had better the day before.
I loved the place and the food. There are plenty of options for breakfast and brunch. I will definitely be back.
I had heard a lot about this place and I’m glad I came. This place has a ver eclectic atmosphere all things French; it’s very chill and the music is very romantic and relaxing. The pastries, the drinks, the food is amazing and the staff is super friendly, even during rush hour. Keep up the god work!!! Shout out to the barista Andres!!
Great service- Julian at the cashier- omitting him from this review. One star service- coffee bar. Met my friend at Amelies for a nice coffee, pastry, and breakfast and we ordered our Salted Caramel Latte's in a mug since we wanted a relaxing coffee bar experience. When we received our coffee, the brunette girl snapped back "we don't have saucers" and walked away when we "awwwed" when we saw them in takeaway mugs. Meanwhile, sitting in front of us in view at the bar is well over 10 mugs. Every time I come to this location this happens. If I wanted a paper to-go cup, I would go to Panera. Feel totally disrespected when you pay coffee shop prices, request a certain mug, and tip $6 at the cashier on your bill...just to get not what you ordered.
Amelie’s is one of our favorites. This location is nice but we love the uptown and Noda location. The drinks and food were still just as great as the other locations
I loved the atmosphere! The decor is so beautiful it felt like a French bakery and the music was nice. I loved the Turtle Cheesecake. The macarons were great too! My favorite was the PBJ (the purple one). The strawberry cheesecake wasn’t my favorite, it was kind of too runny for what I would normally want in a cheesecake. But overall, great experience!
