Best WLM Reviews
We had a great experience, and were honestly confused by the lower rating. The food was good, only little thing was the pani puri was icy cold, I’m guessing because they just pulled it out of the fridge. But would come back again for their lamb rogan josh and chicken tikka.
The best butter chicken I've had in a long time! The chicken wasn't dry or tough and the taste was sweet & savory. I had the dine-in lunch special with Tikka and chickpea spinach. The price point is a bit higher than I usually spend for lunch, but the quiet solitude made it worth it.
i’ve been here twice now.
the first time, i was absolutely in love with the place because the food was amazing + the really good service = the high price point felt really worth it. but the second time, not so much. appetizers were pretty good but small portions sizes for being so expensive (the plates/bowls are pretty shallow so it looks like it may be a lot but only a few pieces) and the entrees just didn’t not taste as good. it was quiet disappointing because i raved about this place to everyone and when my whole family agreed to go, it let us down.
drinks were pretty good each time.
the service was good each time! place is busy though so watch out for that!
i wouldn’t go back just bc of the inconsistency. but am thankful for the really great first visit there!
Food is amazing, Gobi Manchuria is show stealing !!!!
Cocktails are topnotch, fredy.. such and Amazing cocktails honestly!!!!
Best in town and staff is really really friendly helping us to pick vegetarian options.
Must visit, worth visiting again
We had an amazing evening here, food was very tasty! Excellent ambience and friendly staff! All the food items and drinks that we ordered was too good! Would love to go back again!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Amiya for lunch, and I was blown away by the value and variety offered in their lunch platter. The portions are generous, ensuring that you get plenty of bang for your buck without leaving feeling hungry.

In addition to the incredible food, the service at Amiya is top-notch. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always willing to accommodate special requests or dietary preferences.
Overall, I can't recommend the lunch platter at Amiya Indian Restaurant highly enough. It's the perfect combination of quality, quantity, and affordability, making it a must-try for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious Indian meal in Jersey City without breaking the bank.
The food was excellent and most importantly, the staff was super amazing. We were highly impressed by their service. The ambience was wonderful. To start with the desserts literally melted in our mouth. The cocktails were delicious. I was a big fan of their Panipuri and curry chicken. Best part this restaurant is Baby friendly and our daughter Thoroughly enjoyed her time there.
We had an excellent catering experience with Amiya. We worked with them to create a menu for our daughter’s birthday party, which included various apps and entrees. They were able to make some dishes vegan. The food was excellent and received many compliments from guests. We would definitely use Amiya again for future events.
