Food was fair quality. Nothing that stood out. Salsa had too much tomato. A little more garlic, onion and cilantro would be nice. Prices are a little high and they charge you to use your card. Other than that, it's probably a better stop going through that small town.
Driving through a small town and this was conveniently located right off the highway. While it had a very basic look with very little atmosphere, it was actually very tasty food. The ladies were all very pleasant and polite. The hard shell and also soft tacos were very good sized and packed with flavor. The salsa had a little kick to it with very homemade taste. I would say that the only small downfall was that the chips were not fresh tasting. But the tacos made up for it. P.S. The bathrooms were clean!
My lunch was tacos with lightly burned shells. The homemade beans are yummy.
Darling place...we are on a road trip. It was time for lunch! So glad we popped in. Great service and tasty Tex Mex! Yummy salsa and queso with pico and ground beef! Great guacamole too! Thanks y'all
First time eating here. It was a great experience here. Had a very great atmosphere. The food was great. The potato was a little over cooked, but other than that it was great. My wife and grand daughter had a great time and really enjoyed the food also. A little spicy but it's Mexican.
Passing through town and judged the place by the number of cars parked out front around lunch time. It was not such a good barometer of quality this time, as the food was fair quality. The salsa was bland and tasted like ketchup. Enchiladas were unremarkable.
Picture this. It’s Saturday morning, you’re on your way home a long road trip, starving. All the mediocre restaurants are popping. This one looks closed, but upon further inspection, just our luck, its open. There isn’t a single soul, not even a fly. That should’ve been our main red flag after the 1st 2. But being Mexicans, we ignored the red flags and we decided to give this microwaved food place a go. Where do I even begin, they put kraft cheese slice inside my enchiladas, and if I wanted a chili dog I would’ve stopped at the 7/11 further down the road. But it doesn’t end there, the rice was instant rice, and the canned beans were from a few days ago. The water they gave me was the same one they used to wash the dishes. At least the prices were fair, for only $37 and I thought raising cane’s was bad. Do yourself a favor and just keep driving til you make it to Houston or Fort Worth, whichever way you’re going.
First time here. We were returning from a weekend trip. We all felt like tacos. The ice tea was fresh and tasted good. Good salsa with warm fresh chips.
We had the crispy tacos lunch. The tacos were very good. The rice had a good flavor...the charro beans needed a little salt but overall a very nice experience. The wait staff was busy but friendly and fast.
We will be back next time we find ourselves here.
