Best WLM Reviews
I found this place to be quite the bang for your buck.
On Wednesdays, they have wet burrito dinners for $9.95. Not a bad deal at all. They are quite large and served with beans and rice.
They hook you up on the chips and sauce as well. They bring out such a large basket of corn chips that you could just fill up on that alone. The hot sauce is thick with a strong taste of cumin. It is served at room temperature and is quite spicy.
The service is exceptionally prompt. You don't have to wait around for refills or flag down workers. Right as I was done finishing my water, the waitress was already bringing me another one.
The location is kind of tucked away behind other businesses. So the place really doesn't jump out at you when driving by. Despite that, the place was quite crowded.
Overall, while this place isn't particularly high end, the prices are very reasonable and the service is exceptional.
The staff was friendly. The food was okay, i can't say it's the best but it was average (comparable to other maybe non-authentic restaurants). The waiter brought the steak chiminchanga, however we asked for beef. The nachos were okay too. I also want to point out that the servings were large and filling. I did enjoy the rice and refried beans. I also liked the ambient of the restaurant. I may return for a quick bite another time.
We stopped in on a whim and were met with a pleasant atmosphere, courteous staff, and delicious food! The food is scratch-made in house and the owners clearly have pride in their restaurant.
Amigos offers specials Mon - Thu including their combo deluxe which is one of the meals we ordered. ????
Edited : We went back twice since writing this review and it was just as good on those return visits - not a fluke, just a great restaurant.
“I will NEVER be back to this establishment AGAIN”! I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and my whole family as well. We will no longer support this Business. I had two separate orders my mother’s because she does not drive and my own. They forgot my mom’s ranch fry dinner so I had to drive back they offered no compensation. My mom’s dinner tasted terrible. When I finally arrived home to check my dinner I had no beans and the enchiladas were poorly made. I called and spoke to the manager June and she was only offering to replace my beans !!!! She kept repeating that I was only missing beans and that she would only replace one dinner!! She asked for my first and last name and phone number to call and speak to the owner hector which told her he would only replace one dinner but, she failed to tell hector I had two separate orders. You are losing more than just two dinners that you refused to replace but, my entire family will never support your business here. My son also choose this place through make a wish foundation to come here to eat. Absolutely disgusting customer service!!
First the beans you can are old and nasty .I dont know what happened to this place first off the flour chips was burnt then the mild is now chunky salsa they should tell people before they order that they change the sauce, the food comes in Styrofoam and it melted right thur it....the food has so much pepper and chili power it was horrible have to throw the food away, 35 dollars worth, i was gonna take it back but it was close at 7.... and i been coming here for years and this was the worst, dont think i be back. And the reg chips was old also....
I don’t mean to sound like a jerk, but is your salsa made from scratch? It looks and tastes like canned marinara sauce. Chunky beef tacos were pretty good though! Wish I had more rice with it
Food is a 8.3. Service is usually on point. Small dining area. Best coca cola around very carbonated. Salsa is a 6.5 and you get that with free chips. Hours often close early making this place a google before you go
Not sure where all the 5 star reviews are coming from. A lot of reviews raved about the wet burrito which is what I ordered. I found it to be large but flavorless. They're chips are worse than most I get out of a bag, and their salsa, if that's what you call it is more like a taco sauce, very thin and heavy on cumin. The soap in the men's bathroom was watered down horribly. The only thing that was good about Amigo's was the service, Angeles was awesome. I would not recommend to anyone who likes Mexican food, you're better off at Camino Real.
