Meh. Food is decent quality but over priced. $5 for a cheese dip that is incredibly small, as pictured. Service was slow. Don’t think I’ll be back
My wife and I have been eating at this Amigo's location for several years. I'm not sure what's going on at this particular location but they seem to be struggling in all aspects - service, food, and atmosphere. First off, there seems to be new servers every time we attempt to eat here. The service is severely off in terms of timing and being available in general. Service staff seem to lack in proper training and how to best serve patrons. In terms of food, it's really gone down hill. Taste is somewhat bland and lacking that freshness expected at a long-standing Mexican restaurant. I would love to give 5 stars but it's simply not there. I hope this restaurant can survive.
Love the patio! Excellent service and very personable. Our waiter was witty and very attentive. We had the la tapatia carnitas and pollo loco with side of refried beans dinner portions. The meats were tasty. Could eat them by themselves. The portions are more than enough. Next time, lunch portion. Margaritas were tasty. Great meal for under $30 and gluten free.
The actual dishes were very good and lovely but the chips, salsa and cheese dip weren't as good. Overall the chips were amazing but the salsa needed more seasoning and the cheese dip needed to be heated up more. Thank you! The meal was very good, that's all the complaints I have. But definitely more positive feedback! The workers were very nice, I would recommend this place if you're gonna quickly grab something to eat. Depending on when you go.
It would have been 5 stars but for the intensely LOUD music... Why do Mexican Restaurants feel the need to play music so loudly? If I had been with someone, there is no way we could have had a conversation.
Cool joint. Had a strangely prepared chili rellano that was actually good, and chips n dip good 2 for 1 margaritas. 4 adults and 4 children with 6 margaritas (2for1) and it was less than $120 pretax n tip. If near, I shall visit again ????
It took almost 40 mins to get food. Spinach quesadilla, kids #4 was the last items we got about 15 mins after tex mex salad and side order of rice. The ladies bathroom door is warped and wouldn't shut or lock. I had to stand outside the door for my granddaughter. I was really disappointed.
Great tamales. Fast, friendly service. Clean environment. Enjoyable eating experience.
