Delightful little slice of the best of StL.????⚜️Great and pleasant service. ????????Homemade sides that are perfect. We went with the traditional special sandwich ????????and the salmon meatball sandwich. ???????? ????. Hank’s Cheesecakes ????on site as well.
You GUYS!!!! A friend recommended this place, so figured we try it. You. Will. Not. Be. Disappointed!! I had soup and also the sandwich! The soup had so much flavor and was so hearty and oh so delicious!! The sandwich? Oh. My. Goodness!!!! It just melted in your mouth. The bread...to die for. The service was pretty awesome. They made recommendations and checked in with us to make sure we enjoyed our meal! OH and we had the "toasted" ravioli l....so good. The marinara sauce was so good too!! I would highly, HIGHLY recommend this place!! Thank you so much for making our last meal in MO, one to remember! I may have to try the shipping as this is one I'll be craving! ;)
I've been eating Amigettis specials for almost 50 years. Today, sorry to say was not good. Bread was dense, too thick. Hard to chew through. I let the staff know. They said they were baking there own bread now. Trying to figure out the recipe. When you pay 20 dollars for a sandwich, chips and a soda, you shouldn't have to complain. I guess let me know when you figure out the bread situation.
I got the “Le due mezze” choosing the minestrone soup and the Amighetti’s special sandwich. The soup tasted like the veggies were freshly picked and the sand which was just as good. I’m not a huge fan of cannolis but the pistachio filled one here is delicious.
The sandwiches are delicious! The Special is my go-to. Get a whole & share half with a friend. I've been going for years & it never disappoints.
This is the real deal! Love their sandwiches!!! My server was extremely pleasant and efficient! Mom loved her traditional Amighettis sandwich!
The go-to here are the sandwiches. That's what made this place known. We ordered several different sandwiches and everyone really liked them. They were nicely wrapped up and ready to go for us. The large sandwich is a very generous size.
I just had possibly the worst sandwich ever, I threw it away and went next door to Nachomama's. The person who took my order was more interested in stocking than helping me. Then when I finally did order (roast beef and cheese) it was cold and so salty. I assume it was the gravy that was so salty but I took three bites and couldn't even make myself eat anymore. I couldn't find any staff so I tossed it and left. Needless to say, I won't be back. So far from the Amighetti's I used to go to
