...I just don't know how anyone could rate this place above a 1-Star and not be trolling. Granted we didn't have many options late night but my goodness. The atmosphere is like a big ol'picnic area inside, random decorations, a very "electric" group of regulars, random stage that is a Karaoke spot when no live bands random pool tables and coin op games, a random dough mixer with cob-webs stuffed in a corner, and so forth....so anyways the food is TERRIBLE, to the point I thought Bar Rescue was gonna POP AND SURPRISE US.
ORDERED a Eggplant type pizza, with frozen, dry, over fried, tasteless cardboard eggplant slices, terrible mozzarella cheese, but decent ricotta. The dough/crust was thick in some spots,thin in others. Doughy here and charred there...it was just bad.
The wings are FROZEN to death and freezer burned, dark bones and dry as leather. The Cajun seasoning was just tasteless.
If you're HAMMERED and want food, this is the WAFFLE HOUSE OF LATE NIGHT BARS.
Please, get rid of the PIZZA/Wings theme of the bar, and stick to being a dive bar with finger foods and small plates..
Very very cool place!!! The food is really good and they have good local bands there every weekend. Nice stage and sound, pool tables and awesome wait staff!!
Stopped by on a whim while in the Concord area for lunch. Doesn't look like much from the outside but had a great experience. Buffalo chicken wrap was fantastic, decent beer selection and my fiancé loved her, "Build Your Own" pizza. The bartender informed us of daily and weekly entertainment including live music and karaoke. Definitely plan to visit again.
Ordered a ribeye sub & the whole thing was fat no meat im so mad right now I’ll never order from here ever again ????
Cool place great for listening to some great local bands. Huge bar lots of options. When we went they were sooooo short staffed and the few people they did have weren't properly trained and overwhelmed by how busy it was. Our server kept forgetting our drinks, never brought some of them, forgot my food order, and still managed to put in the wrong food order... It took them so long to get us our pizza a manager brought it out to us in the parking lot when we were leaving after waiting more than 45 minutes for it we had given up. It was pretty good pizza when we did get it though. The staff was very nice, the prices are very fair and lots of food options.
If you're looking for a place to have a beer and pizza after work with buddies, this is a option. Average age is probably 30ish. Must do very well on weekends and nights.
We stopped here looking for a decent beer when everything else was closed at 3pm. L. A. was our bartender and she was the best ever. Great chat with her and the beer/food was fabulous. Garlic knots and pizza was wonderful. Thank you L. A. for a wonderful time before our concert!
Going for lunch and having Newsmax play on the TV the whole time was not the best experience. The restroom has filthy language and political hate speech. Will not be going back. It must be for a certain crowd that I am happily not part of. When they ask if you're paying cash or debit, be sure to ask if there is a fee. We were not told and were charged 20% for using a card. You should let the customer know a fee is going to be assessed. The service was good, at least there's that.
