I ate here for lunch last week. The food was really good and it was a lot bigger than expected. My waitress was very nice and attentive. The restaurant looked really clean. I'll definitely be back.
The buffalo chicken dip was good even with the stale chips. The pizza slice was repulsive. I don’t know what pizzas are getting 5 stars but Alcovy High School has y'all beat and those were pretty gross. However! Customer service was nice. I give this a 5/5 stars because I asked for a water to go and this dude with a pony tail came out and brought me my water… with… not a bird, not a plane, not a loogie, A LEMON!! THE LEMON OF LEGENDS! THE LEMON OF HEALTH. The nice squirt of a heavenly lemon juice into my water was just what I desired. More than the hug my father never gave me. Thanks for the lemon dude.
Enjoyed a few meals (in a row actually) while on a recent trip to Covington. Enjoyed everything I tried. Definitely will go back whenever in Covington. I tried the Tuscan pizza, a slice of their Athenian pizza with a side of fries (lunch special), their mixed greens salad, and the Chicken Parm. Pizzas were great, even cold and leftover. The salad was excellent with its finely diced tomatoes, chickpeas, and house made ranch. I will be trying the wings on my next visit.
Our family met for lunch. Delicious ???? food. They were very cordial. We sat for a few hours eating and talking. Very nice atmosphere. Don't miss it if you visit the Square in Covington, GA
Great restaurant. The guys who made the Tuscan pizza in the back were great. Pizza was full of flavor, delivered fresh and hot. The peppers and sauces tasted authentically made for an Italian pizza.
Rented the private room that Amici on the square had for a family event where we ended up with 40-50 people. It was perfect. The room is open, with large long tables, plenty of windows offering exceptional light, a bar and small "stage" with various spots to sit, eat and drink.
We pre-ordered about a week prior off of the catering menu, where most items fed 8-10 people. Ended up getting a few more pizzas and some deserts in the day of and it was seamless. Everyone enjoyed the mix of apps, salads, pizza and pasta (and deserts). We had a few selections at the bar which were quick offerings as well as access to the full bar menu.
The staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating and easy to work with. Devon, the events coordinator, was a joy to deal with. I am so glad we picked Amici's private room for our event, it was a great time and value. Thank you
1 week later - I can say things were much much better!! Great server, service, excellent calzones!!
Sad to report, Tuesday evening 7:45 we were seated and at 8pm we left. NO one had bothered to even take a drink order. They weren’t busy, unless wait staff hanging in the kitchen is considered busy.
We frequent this location but will try the new one next time.
Instead we walked to Your Pie , ordered and enjoyed pizza and on our way home at 8:35.
Went for lunch and took advantage of the lunch menu. Plus side was the lunch menu was available on a Saturday and not just during the week. Food was also good and filling. Downside service was slow. Not slow like we were ignored or felt like we’d never get service. It was slow in general of food coming out. It wasn’t super crowded, we were seated right away.
