Love Amici Madison!! I'm mostly here for lunch and I have never had a bad experience. They have some of the best servers!! Food, service and atmosphere are all great. I especially love Wing Wednesdays...
I visited Amici in Madison tonight, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The service was poor, and the food did not meet expectations. I ordered a bunless grilled chicken sandwich, and what I received was extremely underwhelming. The chicken portion was incredibly small—probably about 3 ounces—and it was dry and flavorless. Given the price, I expected much better quality and portion size. I wouldn’t recommend this dish, and based on this visit, I’m hesitant to return.
So the lady that is in the blue shirt on the first picture was a host at the restaurant and she was so rude to me. The restaurant was full because of the splitz band performing. She did not listen to my concerns at all and just threw us in the back at a random table. There was another sweet lady working there I wish I knew her name but she had red hair and it was in a cute ponytail with a flip and now she was amazing! She made sure we were good and provided excellent customer service. The food was pretty good, and well seasoned. Wasn’t a fan of the pasta salad. My husband ordered a the chicken sandwich and it was super salty so he sent it back to the kitchen and got a double cheese burger instead he enjoyed it.
Over all had a good night listening to the band and eating. It was just the rudeness of the host. Also was added to the waiting list via my cell phone, and literally did not received a message about a table. We sat and waited on a table from around 7:45 pm to close to 9 pm.
I took the family to the Firefly Festival in Madison, GA, and then we found this great restaurant! The food was great, the service was great, they had live music. We enjoyed our time here. If you are ever in Madison, GA, stop by for some good food and an enjoyable environment.
We loved our experience here today. Our server Dez was amazing and completely on point with everything. The food was great and the spin dip was better than ever. If you are in Madison definitely drop in to give them a try!!
Fantastic atmosphere, delicious and fresh food, very reasonable prices, great serving sizes, fantastic staff. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely eat here again any time I visit the area.
Don't bother having them fix THEIR mistake. The response is to drive back for their screw up. I order honey garlic wings, with mild sauce on the side. They didn't put the mild in there. They said there was some glitch, and manager (Tiffany) said she fixed the order herself. So, I would have to drive 20 minutes back there to pick it up. Then I realized there was very little honey and no garlic on the wings, as you can tell in the pic. The ticket, also, clearly states what I ordered. I didn't bother calling back, as I'm sure I will get the same response...they screwed up, but I need to drive back to get it fixed. Plain $20 wings for dinner it is. ????
The house salad is great. The 1/2 price (Wednesdays )boneless chicken wings are good. Update: Went back recently and had Cobb salad which was great. It was a Sunday lunch and got busy very fast. I enjoyed it.
Earlier: I had the chicken Parmesan with spaghetti. The chicken was smothered with cheese which was good but the texture of the chicken was mushy. The spaghetti was so tasteless that i had to bring it home to add spices and flavors to be edible. I would have preferred some attention from the waiter other than take my order and bring my bill. I definitely would have had another beer. I will come back for sure and try something else. Also I liked the ambience of the place.
