Awesome place to dine. The daily combo (served between 11am and 3pm) is very filling. I had a gourmet slice of pizza and 4 wings. My dining partner had the pepperoni slice with 4 wings. I didn't expect the slice to be that big!! I also had the BLT Wedge salad, which was good too. It had just the right amount of dressing. We shared an appetizer of calamari. I would have liked it better without the banana peppers but I picked over them so no problem. Nice lunch date at Amici Lake Oconee and will be returning.
COOKING STAFF WAS NOT WEARING GLOVES WHILE PREPARING FOOD. I ordered a takeout pizza last night and when I went in to pick up the order, I was shocked to see the cooks who were preparing everyone’s food in the kitchen were NOT wearing gloves. They were handling raw meat and grabbing raw vegetables with their BARE HANDS. It was very upsetting to see sanitation and safety practices ignored. GROSS.
Great local pub that serves delicious pizza. The staff is friendly, service is quick and food is amazing. Good variety of beer as well.

Had the pineapple expresss pizza slice. Great pizza. The wing sauce as good too. Hubby go the burger and fries. GREAT We will stop by again.
Food is very good, more attention needed on the service side. We were there at 3:00pm and unfortunately didn’t get extra napkins for the wings, nor red pepper for pizza, we ran out of ice tea and had to chase down the check. On the food side, pizza, the salad, and the “xx hot” wings were outstanding. We enjoyed listening to classic rock and watching the game. Nice bar area. Parking could be an issue at peak times. Lots of specials and activities during the week.
I guess you’d have to dine in for better tasting food. This was a Last minute decision for dinner. I ordered the grill chicken Caesar salad and two slices of pizza (the works and the beefeater) to go. This was around 8:30, My home is 5 minutes away from amici’s. I opened my box and the pizza was burnt and hard as a brick. They closed at 9 pm so I called to let them know my pizza was burnt they did offer fresh slices however the new slices were not done in the middle. All of the toppings fell off of the pizza. I mean I don’t want my pizza burnt but I do want it DONE. Very disappointing that I paid $28 for dinner and couldn’t enjoy it. ????
This was a last minute decision to stop for dinner. It was okay. The service was just okay. The booth next to us seemed to get better service as they got plates for their appetizers and checked on several more times than we did. I guess I only noticed because it was awkward to have the server right there and then walk away. We were offered plates and said yes, but then no plates ever came. The wings were hot, as in warm, but then they were hard and chewy very quickly. I didnt eat all of mine. The artichoke and spinach dip was suspect with oil around the side of the bowl and really looked like it was not fully prepared/blended. Overall, we'll pass on this stop next time. They did offer a military discount and that is appreciated. That brought it up to a third star.

Overall: Great option if you're looking for some takeout pizza by the lake.
The good: The crust is the standout takeaway in this pizza. It's crisp yet has a comforting chewy-ness to it, leaving it not too flaky but not too flabby. The toppings are piled on high, leaving every slice satisfying. They have a decent menu to choose from (as well as the salads and wings). The darkhorse of the meal was the garlic knots that came on the side of the salads, who doesn't love some good knots.
The not-so-good: Took awhile for our pizzas to be made and the prices are a bit too high. The BBQ chicken topping combination was a bit odd and didn't quite work as well as it could have.
