What an absolutely fun family outing. We've never experienced this amount of fun back in South Africa when playing temping bowling. It believe it's got everything to do with the company you keep and the bowling ???? places you visit. Definitely recommend visiting AMF American Lanes for your next fun family day, or even for your next date. It definitely won't disappoint.
I had my daughter’s birthday party there. When we walked in no one was there at the table to greet us. There was open chips and salsa sitting on the table with people walking all around it. The party was suppose to start at one. I had to go to the counter to get someone. They were in a meeting. So finally trying to get started thinking we had a party host. No host. The host we were suppose to have didn’t come over and host the party. She told me how to put the names on the board. We lost 30 minutes trying to get the kids started. Then I had to add two more and the manager told me how to add them on. I asked him if he could not come over and do it. We are at 1:40 now for a 1:00 party. Finally got them started. Every time I needed something I had to go and find the “host”. We were told a few minutes before the party that they didn’t have turkey for the turkey wraps. So food started coming out. They just put it on the table and left. Never told us how it worked. I was still thinking we were going to have someone to host the party. Ran out of drinks and had to go ask for more. There was one lady that came over to check on us because she already knew things were not going good. So I seen the “host” again when it was time to sign the paper for payment. Brought me that to sign but didn’t bother to ask if we needed anything. After I signed that I never seen her again. I was so disappointed. I have had parties there before for all my kids and this was the worse. I paid close to 300.00 to run the party myself. If I wanted to run the party I would have stayed home and did the party.

Racist racist racist establishment! Called the police on a group of young black men when they could have just asked our group to leave! Our group couldn’t even enjoy ourselves because the white employees kept circling our group all night bothering us and were rude and hostile as soon as we stepped foot in the building you could feel they didn’t want us there when we were just out trying to enjoy ourselves we weren’t bothering anybody but that the experience of being young and black in America right? Shame on this business I wouldn’t spend another dollar here it’s way better bowling alleys in metro Atlanta that are cleaner and look nicer and the staff is rude and unprofessional anyways and the food was overpriced and nasty . UPDATE after leaving this review the manager called me and yelled at me and hung up in my face and told me if I ever come back he will have me arrested why would you think I would want to come back after being racially profiled anyways? Wow so unprofessional I’ve never seen anything like this in my life all I asked was why didn’t they just ask us to leave why did the police have to be called would they have called the police on a group of white men for the same thing ? I think not ( and the response is bs) because I received a email from the district manager stating that I am banned from all locations and sister location all because I left this review and spoke out wow!!! I was never going back anyways thx!
We celebrated our daughter Isabella’s birthday on January 28th. I cannot tell you how satisfied we are with the entire party. Please forgive me as I didn’t collect names. We were greeted with a smile, the GM was so attentive and responsive at all times. The gentleman who brought our food and kept checking up on us was amazing! Our guests had so much fun (I think the adults had more fun than the kids). Each and everyone of your staff was spectacular! Keep up the great work and I can’t wait to come back because of staff treatment alone. Thank you!!
We had a great time. We had not been bowling in years. The lanes were great. The place was clean. The atmosphere was fun and the service was excellent. We bowled a game then got some food and drinks that were better than some of the restaurants that we have visited in the area. We will definitely be returning.
I only go here for the drinks but this place is a very chill spot. The bartender, Zeb, is great at his job. Good conversation and his drinks get the job done. One of these days I'll actually go for bowling
