Stay away! Customer service, non-existent. Room condition, safety code violations everywhere and it looked like somebody was in my bed before I got there. I had to buy my own batteries for the TV remote in order to get it to work.Continental breakfast consisted of a handful of bananas, tangerines that look like they fell off a truck, Donuts in a couple of boxes that anybody could have put their fingers in. Cigarette Burns on the bed cover. Dog feces surrounds the building. Take my advice, pull up the road 10 minutes and get a better room. If I could give less than one star, I definitely would. They don't even rate one star. Forgot to mention the broken toilet seat, and a shower that is catered to people that are 5'4 and under
We rented a room with 2 beds. One bed had no pillows and the other bed had no fitted sheet, and 2 pillows didn't have cases on them. The beds were terribly uncomfortable. The smoke alarm had no battery in it, and the toilet was wobbly. There was also something on the wall just above the toilet that I don't care to think of what it could have been. The continental breakfast was cold cereal, bread and yogurt.
We were also made to pay a fee when we checked in that I felt should have been part of the price that I had already paid. All and all we will NOT stay there again.
To be honest, when I first started looking at this hotel I saw a lot of interesting reviews on this place, so I was a bit skeptical. Luckily, I was reassured when I walked in and the staff were all very nice and accommodating to me. The rooms were clean, they had the perfect cliche hotel breakfast, and it was not too expensive for my budget. I would come back for sure.
This was great for the price! Super clean, comfortable, great air conditioning. For the price you can’t beat it!
They put us in a room that had no towels. Once i got towels I got in the shower, there was no shower curtain.
Then they said we were put in the wrong room, so they moved us across the hall. This room had no towels, so we went back to the first room and took all the towels.
Unfortunately, there aren't too many choices when it comes to hotels in the busling town of Stanley Wi.
The staff can use some training.
Other than than that the room wasn't bad.
A comfortable room and a good bargain. I don't why there are so many bad reviews of this hotel - I suspect it's just crabby or racist people. I thought the staff was very nice and the room was clean and pleasant. I chose this place instead of the much more expensive hotel in Thorp for a family reunion and was happy with my choice.
Had a room reserved with 2 queen beds. Confirmed by calling two weeks before date. Went to sign in and told had a king bed.....for 4 people. Staff was unprofessional and entry not look like posted pictures at all. Had to confirm I would not be charged for room. Still holding my breath on that. No hotels in area available. Needed to drive back home
The heater didn’t work in the first room. We moved to another room and I noticed the sink was a little dirty. The pillows looked a little rumpled and after further inspection of the bed, there was blood on the pillows, food stains on the sheets and tons of hair in the bed. The other bed was also dirty and gross. Looking at the toilet, the bowl was clean, but the cover and tank were filthy. It appears there have been other bad experiences recently from some other reviews. I will never stay at this hotel and I will make sure to let people know not to stay here.
