The family that owns the property and runs it were very friendly. The place was cleaner than most hotels are, even the ones that are over $130 a night. I saw a lot of bad reviews on the place, but is was the only one close to our jobsite. We were very surprised to see the bad reviews are Nothing like the actually place. We would definitely stay there again.
This is one of the worst places I ever stayed. There breakfast was a joke, they only had white bread, grape jelly, butter, and coffee, there was also a toaster. We did not eat there. The bath mat on the side of the tube was very damp when I picked it up. No microwave in the room. The fridge had no door on the freezer and the bottle of pop I put in the was frozen the next morning. The hole place looked run down.
Rooms were filled with flies, it smelled like dirty laundry , people at desk wouldn’t do anything about it . Breakfast was a loaf of bread on the table. I think If I ever come through this town again I’ll sleep in the middle of the road instead
We loved this area for vacation. Very relaxing with the pond in the back. The person that checked us in was very nice and accommodating. He answered all our questions and helped us when we needed. There is also a great diner across the road. They close early but it's worth it. All in all, we had a wonderful vacation and will be back again to enjoy this piece of the northwoods.
This place was very clean! It smelled fresh as soon as you walk in the door. The gentleman at the lobby was absolutely the kindest most compassionate man. He even made the coffee that we brought for us to have! I will recommend this place to everyone.
Very clean rooms.The couple who work here are very professional and caring to the customer needs.They are always busy cleaning and smiling.Always have the breakfast on time.The place smells very clean when you walk in.Very quiet so you can get a good night sleep.I am very thankful for the help that they give.These are the nicest and most caring people.Very trustworthy and helpful.I would definitely stay here again.
I was driving all day and got tired so I stopped here, the closest place. The gentleman working at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. It's nothing fancy but definitely worth the price for just a place to get some rest before continuing on my travels. The only thing I didn't care for was that the doors to the building are not locked, so it didn't feel very secure.
Decent place,reasonable prices,about 30 mile west of Tomahawk, but nice ride.
