I would not recommend staying here!!!!! My boyfriend reserved a room for 2 nights and the first night we spotted what we are pretty sure was a cock roach and another black bug on one of the pillows. The second night we spotted another bug that again sure looked like a cocktail roach and then later realized there were bedbugs in the room and a pillow on the other bed had a bloodstain on it. We took the pillow and one of the bugs down to the front desk they literally acted like this was a normal occurrence and said "yes we can move you to another room." We told them we just wanted to go stay somewhere else bug free and they told us if we wanted a refund we would need to stay and talk to the manager in the morning. So they moved us to another room infested with stink bugs bttwr than roaches and bed bugs I guess. When we went down to check out and inform the clerk on duty she said "yup would you like a reciept."
When I first arrived, the room was OK but after standing there for a few moments, it ended up being infested with fleas and I was covered. The nighttime attendant immediately gave me another room, even though I suggested an upgrade, was simply given a room with no fleas, which I’m grateful for. The next morning, when checking out, I spoke with the manager, and she was extremely unapologetic or courteous to anything that I said.. Not a very good public figure to represent an establishment sitting there with her hat on backwards and a gun tucked up underneath her jelly roll. Very gruff.
Wonderful place to stay. Everyone is friendly and treats you like family. Very clean hotel. Hot tub and pool are a plus. They are very clean. Breakfast offered a variety of foods to choose. Excellent coffee and I am very particular about my coffee. Will definitely stay there again when the area. Well lit parking lot and close to a full service restaurant.
Staff is extremely rude. Told me to leave her housekeepers alone, because I asked for clean bedding because my kids are sick. But I had a don't disturb on my door that I forgot about. So they wanted to treat me poorly because I asked for clean bedding. 0 star in my opinion never been treated so poorly at a hotel that we paid a fortune for old outdated rooms.
Had to take the back off the toilet to flush it every time because the chain broke the first time we flushed it. We let that go but then the people with us didn't get their deposit back because their toddler spilled something on the bed. Stains on bedding is common and I've never heard of anyone being charged for something so minor. If it was malicious I can understand but they use white bedding for a reason, they use industrial bleach so that stain should've came out without issue. It was food. Never staying with these money hungry people again.
There was no water coming out of faucets. Front desk clerk advised it was because the hotel was full and if more than two of the whirlpools were trying to be filled at the same time they would run out of water so try again in 20 minutes. I tried again well after 20 minutes, still no water.
Spoke with manager Becky after I checked out and she advised the same thing the front desk clerk did and immediately stated she wasn't providing any type of refund. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she stated the only other person above her was the owner Randall Roe and he wouldn't call me back anyhow and that this conversation was over and hung up on me.
Becky is very rude and obviously feels empowered by Randall Roe to conduct herself this way. I feel sorry for her.
To spite the fact this place was the only available hotel in a radius of 100 miles, the rooms were less than desirable. The bed was in poor condition with most of the springs broken, it literally collapsed as you set on it. When you did lay down you rolled to the center. The shower when moved to the hot side barely had any water pouring out. Yet they charged premium price. I do not recommend staying at this hotel.
Absolutely terrible management.
First of all, we rented out both suites for my sons birthday. We had 6 kids in total between the two rooms. Any time a kid would walk around in our room, the lady from the front desk was knocking on the door to tell us we were being too loud. Mind you, our rooms are directly above the front desk, so yes she may have heard them walking around but if it’s that big of a deal, they should make it be known the suite rooms are NOT kid friendly!
We only got two towels per room, couldn’t get any more unless you turned in those two.
During breakfast in the lobby, my son had to use the restroom so he tried using the lobby bathroom, but apparently that one is only for employees on some days.. weird because the day before we used that restroom all day because the one in the pool area was absolutely disgusting all day.
I could go on and on but I’m just letting you know, customer service at this location is just absolutely awful and I wouldn’t waste my money! I know I will not be returning.
