When I arrived at this location, the woman at the front desk told me she didn’t know if they had a clean room for me even though I had reserved a room the day prior. She showed me three different rooms, each of which had roaches crawling on the walls, dirty sheets, and unclean towels. One room was missing towels altogether. I don’t have definitive proof, but I believe this hotel is frequented, and run by drug addicts. The night I was there, a visibly intoxicated man rolled what I believe to be a stolen truck tire into the lobby. Please, if you value your family, your health, and your possessions, do not stay at this hotel.
I looked at 4 different rooms. The first smelled like rotten food. The second smelled like someone died & rotted next door. The third room reeked so badly of animal pee I gagged. The 4th room was tolerable it smelled like cigarettes but as soon as I found one working light I saw hundreds of cockroaches scatter. The front desk lady was really nice & let me look at the rooms first before charging me. I’ve literally been in duffield jail & would rather be in jail for a week than stay at this disgusting place. I just left.
Me and my family had a very long-term vacation and wanted to take a break this place was the closest to us and let me tell you this place is a straight up nightmare a straight up definition as soon as we walked in our room we left immediately we gave it a chance and looked around for about 5 minutes and we were out there bedding looked like it had not been washed in several years there were bed bugs dead and alive bug on the ceiling shower and even the sink and toilet as soon as we laid eyes on all those things we sprinted out. Do NOT go here. Not even for a day.
Those pictures are not what it looks like no way .it's looks like something out of a horror movie. Looked at 2 rooms and oh my god the worst ever . Roaches mold filthy bed ,towels ,floor and walls water logged. Don't even approach it . Needs to be torn down straight up dump would not put a dirty sock in there super nasty. We left.and found something else
Let me say this I have never seen a motel so corrupt in my life me my mother and my old man and our dog lived at Americourt cause we are homeless well I went too jail over pov something that didn't have anything too do with the motel I didn't have drugs in my room or wasn't fighting but they still kicked my 61 year old mother out over me going too jail after she told me she wouldn't kick my mom out and lied to me and they keep her check we where paid up to the fourth but what upsets me the worst is cause she judged us the minute we walked in cause we where from Westside inn even though I told her she could watch me pee I got evedence too but I got too talk to a lawyer I am going too try too sue her for definition of character so crystal this is tylisha and me and my family will see you in court
I HAVE READ ALL THESE REVIEWS AND ITS SO WRONG ON SO MANY LEVALS. The Staff are very kind an willing to do whatever they can to help in any situation. This place isn't the Hilton but not as bad as people make it out to be. This is the first place that made me an my family an children feel at home in our situation. Ied tell anyone it's great here in a heartbeat.
Changing my review from 5 stars to -stars if I could! Will be in touch with a lawyer as well as BBB. Stayed there for about 3 months. Waited 2 weeks for $50 deposit to be refunded. Was told by 1 employee that it was being processed and it was out of their hands. Then after I contacted my bank to find out it was not refunded I was told by Crystal (manager) my deposit was not refunded because of hair from my service animal. (WHICH NUMBER 1 IS ILLEGAL! and number 2 is COMPLETELY FALSE! We vacuumed and cleaned room top to bottom. (BECAUSE I ALREADY KNEW I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO FIGHT TO GET DEPOSIT BACK!) Even left clean sheets (as you have to wash your own sheets and towels while PAYING TO STAY THERE! Not to mention the washers and dryers rob you almost EVERYtime with NO REFUND) I have pictures of what the room looked like the day that I walked in and the day that I left but cannot figure out how to post them.
Stayed for 2 nights, they will ask for deposit either cash/card. Got charged through the card for half of what was given in cash and was not refunded through my card.
Rooms were infested with roaches and smelled heavily like cigarettes.
