We made an unexpected trip to Burlington and needed a hotel that accepted a pet. While it was very helpful to our situation, this hotel was very run down. Most doors we passed had visible damage. The rooms were not well cleaned such as visible dirt on various fixtures, rips in the room chair and stains on the bedding that washing had not removed. Surfaces in the room were dusty. The carpet did not appear vacuumed and there was heavy visible dust along edges. Maybe this is acceptable here, but the strong odor of vaping was ever present in the hallway. The ice machine near the entrance was leaking water into the hallway making a potentially dangerous situation for guests as they transitioned from a wet carpet to a tiled floor. The back entrance to the building has a broken door allowing anyone access to the building. There was a taped sign on the door alerting people to the 24hr camera, but the sign appeared old so it seemed questionable how long the broken door situation has been going on. The breakfast area the next morning also appeared unclean, such as the tables appeared dirty along with the food service counters and food replenishment was not taken care of.
We have stayed at Wyndham locations before and had great experiences, but this location was definitely below standards.
The room was nice and so was the pool. The front desk guy was a little bit rude for no reason, overall I enjoyed my stay. it does have a bit of a weird location as well, but it’s not a bad location. I thought the pool is very nice and most of the people are nice too except for one front desk guy. he was rude without needing to be. Also our air conditioning didn’t work very well other than that I would’ve given it five stars
Very rude front desk. We tried to check in early and the front desk lady yelled at me because she is doing laundry and none of the rooms were clean and to come back in 45 minutes. Left and came came and still had to wait until 2:55 pm to check in. If the rooms weren't clean, why was all of housekeeping in the laundry room talking and sitting outside smoking? This hotel was dirty. We left at 4 am and didn't want to eat their continental breakfast because the place was that nasty. No clocks in the suites and none of the 4 phone chargers worked. Room not vacuumed and the french door windows look s like they have never seen Windex! The place needs bulldozed. Not a good experience
This place is nasty. Our room (214) smelled like cigarette smoke and urine. The carpet had not been vacuumed in who knows how long. We took an air freshener out of our vehicle and put it on the vent to help cover up the smell. For $176 we expect a clean room. Nasty!!! Housekeeping needs to learn how to do their job. We did mention these complaints to the gentleman at the front desk. He was kind and polite.
This was the most disgusting motel I've ever stayed at. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
Check out is at the usual 11a.m. and check in isn't until 3p.m. however that isn't time enough to ready the rooms for the next customers.
We arrived well past check-in and our room wasn't ready. I was told it would only be a few minutes as they were just finishing one of the beds (we had booked a double queen room), so we said ok. Well about 20 minutes pass, no room yet. I go back to the desk and ask for our room key, not ready yet just a few more minutes to make the bed. At any rate, they gave us another room and OMG DISGUSTING! Filthy, dirty, doors in the room wouldn't even close all the way. Bathroom was gross and not a towel to be found. NOT ACCEPTABLE. Back to the front desk and want the actual room we booked. Not ready yet..finishing making one of the beds. Finally get our room after about 45 minutes and again dirty room. All the floors were dirty and sticky. The bedding was awful a flimsy duvet cover minus the comforter. Looked like it was slopped together using old bedding. Pillows were mostly wadded up, not happy.
That motel needs a complete renovation or gutted and start over. Do not waste your money, NOT WORTH IT. Very unprofessional and a disgrace to Wyndham!!
You night crew does not know what he is doing, my daughter booked a room for Nov 24-25 but he had the paperwork wrong, the confirmation number is different from the site she booked it thru, none of it matches, then he cussed at her then kicked her out for no reason. I will be going above his head and hopefully he gets demoted or fired for the way he treated her for his mess up. Not to mention, she has to wait for her money to come back on her card, lord knows how long that's going to take. I will be speaking with the manager .
This place needs a make over and some maintenance. Would not stay here until its completed. Door to room was broken, carpet was worn completely to under layment in several areas. There was trash and "stuff" behind the the night stands that made it obvious that the room cleaning was superficial. Had to swap light bulbs in lamps to get lights where we used it.
Hot tub was closed off, no milk one day for breakfast, no bandaid when my son scratched his does in the pool. It was nice and quiet, friendly staff. Pillows were comfy!
