Traveling for work. Very clean room, bedding, and towels. Helpful and friendly staff. Simple but adequate bar on site with very reasonably priced drinks. Especially the Tuesday night half price tap of $1.50 for a glass!
Sauna and hot tub were a bonus after a day of work.
Across the parking lot from the Sawmill restaurant and bar meant I had no need to leave for dinner.

Rooms were clean, breakfast was great when the main breakfast lady was making in. This hotel is located right in front of railroad tracks so if you cannot tolerate any noises while sleeping I wouldn't recommend staying here, I myself didn't find it too bad. No elevator access so if you cannot do stairs request a bottom floor room. There is a "bar" in the hotel but it's slightly uncomfortable when a workers child is sitting at it while other folks are trying to drink. Pool was useable. Front desk staff are not so friendly especially if you inconvenience them. All in all I would stay here again, even with the above complaints.
Positive: The room was very clean. Negative: A train track is located directly behind the hotel. The train comes through all night long and blows it?s horn at the hotel. I?d NEVER go back. We were awakened all night long!!
This hotel although under construction the last time I stayed (I’m a repeating costumer) still has some of the best staff and clean rooms you could ask for. The gym facilities connected as well as hot tub and sauna are great. The rooms have a nice mini fridge and the suites have a great tv room. The complementary chili is the second best reason to stay!
Spent the weekend there for a golf outing and the hot tub was a big reason we selected this hotel, but it was out of order and we weren't notified ahead of time. The heater is broken and they have not timeline to fix it. Why can't they notify guests when you make a reservation if the amenities aren't available or at a minimum give a discount! Never again will I stay here!!!!
This place is a GEM. Much superior to many AmericInns I have stayed at in the past. Friendly staff, renovated rooms, new linens and furniture and BEAUTIFUL landscaping out front. I will definitely stay here again. Only negative (out of the hotel's control) is the sometime loud train passing out back.
When booking, the staff should be required to let you know you WILL BE AWAKENED by freight trains running, blowing their horns, and shaking your room ALL NIGHT LONG. We would have stayed at Comfort Inn. $200 for no sleep and a mediocre breakfast.
It's a nice place, but the rooms need some update dating. Blinds that can be pulled up or down and new standard higher toilets.
Very clean.
