I recently stayed at American Inn, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome, providing fast check-in and all the information I needed. My room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with modern furnishings that gave it a cozy feel.
The amenities were top-notch. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the view from my room was stunning. The hotel’s location was ideal—close to many attractions but still quiet enough for a peaceful retreat.
The breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations with a wide variety of fresh options, all tastes. Special shoutout to the staff, who were attentive and genuinely friendly throughout my stay.
Overall, American Inn offers outstanding value for the price. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. I’ll definitely be back!
We recently stayed at this property, and had a horrible experience that I hope no one else ever has to endure.
My husband was attacked in the hallway by a vicious dog. He did nothing to provoke this dog, and the owner did not have full control, despite having the dog on a leash. Fortunately, the bite did not break any skin. He immediately went to the front desk to report the attack, and asked the desk clerk to call the police. When they responded, animal control was not called as the attack did not result in bodily harm.
The owner apologized, but they and the dog were permitted to remain in the hotel. The only thing offered by the desk clerk was to be moved to a room farther away from the offending animal. How is this safe??? What would stop the dog from attacking anyone else??
As we had events in the area, we stayed in the hotel, but I can tell you I was very nervous anytime we left the room.
I will add that the rooms are ok, the "breakfast" is horrible, no real food except the fruit, and yogurt.
The front desk clerks are seldom visible, and never greet anyone as they come in. Security is non-existent
I stayed in room 207. We had a great stay! Room was clean, spacious and inviting. Towels where fluffy and white. Bed was comfortable. Hotel had a lodge cabin vibe. Pool is nice if your looking for something to do. Hotel manager was very accommodating when we looked for a loss phone. I highly recommend Americinn, Oswego
Nice motel, kind of dated. I did like the Rustic style. Rooms were clean. but again dated maid service was excellent. Yes the continental breakfast was good. Close to shopping.
I have stayed at this hotel a few times now and have always had a great visit. Rooms are always clean and comfortable, coffee is always available in the lobby, they do a nice breakfast as well. Mr. Patel and his staff are always attentive and will do nearly anything to make your stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel after staying at several others in the area, this is the one I return to when rooms are available.
This place was home for 2 months and i loved it. The fitness room could be updated but there 5 variety of gyms less the 5 min away so if ur a member of any bigger gym, it's prolly nearby. The strip across the street has everything u could possibly need in walking distance.
The rooms very nice and homey, safe, microwave, minifridge, bath tub w/shower (prone to flood over side a bit though, lay a towel down prior as a floor mat). Morning breakfast is great. Waffle/pancake machine, oatmeal/cereal, 5ish bread variety and yogurt. Sadly it dont open till 6am and i was out door before then, but they typically allowed me to grab something for the road.
Used the pool only one time (wasted opportunity on my end) and waters nice and warm.
Mr patel, Ella, Steven, and Patty made my stay much better especially, wonderful staff here all fantastic people. Couple not as chatty as the others but not unpleasant by any means. If i could afford to id keep living there. Glad if i had to stay at any hotel as long as i did that it was here. Whole 60 day stay was great from start to finish
Stayed in rm 118:
Pros: Microwave, Desk, Free breakfast, cleaning staff replacing garbage and towels daily, free wifi, refrigerator, pool(I didn't use it), beds were comfortable
Cons: The room had a slightly funny smell, and I had a few small bugs around the room throughout my week spent here. TV remotes were limited in functionality, no freezer, laundry machines only take quarters, breakfast isn't amazing, but it's free, walls are seem thin if there's noise right outside in parking lot or in rooms next to you. Very loud music was playing from the room next to mine on my last night at the hotel.
Aug 2024 reservation; clean room, good service upon arrival and departure. Did not use pool but it was open and looked clean, some guest smoked and left open container in upstairs lounge area but was cleaned up by next morning. Safe n easy parking with restaurants within walking distance. Met Mgr, Lalit, who was polite and friendly and asked about my stay upon checking out. Would recommend for future stays.
