Best WLM Reviews

I stayed here for a few weeks and I have to stay I had completely different experience. When arriving the man at the front desk was trying to help me with a mess up with my reservation and was very patient, the rest of the staff in general were awesome! The room I stayed in was not bad at all and very spacious and really I had no complaints. They are going through renovations but to me it really didn’t bother me or my family(two young children). The only down side is the breakfast it wasn’t the greatest but honestly I have been quite a bit of places where they said the server breakfast and only served coffee. Overall it was a pretty good experience
Nothing good for breakfast , only 1 member of the staff treated me like a human .
My recent stay at the AmericInn by Wyndham was shockingly poor, with some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. What should have been a comfortable, pet-friendly stay turned into an unsettling ordeal.
From the start, my room had a strong smell of dog hair and dust, and I later found out management had kept a dog there before my check-in, despite having available rooms. Instead of marking the room as unavailable, they let me stay, which led to my becoming ill from all the dust and dog hair.
As if that weren’t enough, hotel staff entered my room unannounced through the fourth-floor balcony, acting as if it were normal. They even told me they planned to leave a maintenance worker in my room with all my belongings and then bring a dog back after I left. When I firmly reminded them I had my own pets (two cats, which I noted at check-in), they seemed unbothered. They lingered on my patio, waiting for me to leave, so I made sure to lock the patio door before going, which prompted them to curse under their breath when they couldn’t re-enter with the dog.
I then packed my things, hoping to shower and shave quickly before heading to another hotel. The bathroom floor was sticky, but I managed to rush through it, only to have my water shut off mid-shave. Then, I heard the maintenance worker tinkering with the TV’s electrical panel—causing the TV to turn off and back on—before moving everything back in place. I had no idea why they were playing such petty games, but at that point, I just wanted out.
I stopped by the front desk, hoping to cancel the rest of my stay and get a refund. Unfortunately, the staff member said he couldn’t process it, but he assured me that canceling would allow for a refund. Despite that assurance, they’re now scapegoating me and refusing any refund for the stay.
This hotel’s behavior was cruel and inhumane, and it’s hard to believe this level of treatment is tolerated anywhere, let alone in North America. I came looking for a decent place to rest, but instead, I got zero rest, my cleanliness was compromised, and my wounds even became infected.

Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs
I had a truly awful experience at this hotel. While one staff member was somewhat decent, he ended up canceling my reservation instead of moving it forward, which left me having to pay $232 for just three nights, including a deposit. I felt completely scammed.
To make matters worse, the hotel's management is using me as a scapegoat for the room's cleanliness issues, refusing to issue a refund. This caused me severe panic attacks due to my moderate to severe anxiety disorder. I can't believe how poorly I was treated—I draw the line at being treated like a dog.
If anyone has faced similar mistreatment at this hotel, I urge you to come forward. We deserve better. what did i do to deserve this treatment ?
Worst hotel experience
I first went back down because there was not a blanket on the bed.  I was given a blanket.
Upon flushing the toilet, it was leaking.
There were also no towels in the bathroom and the tub was filthy.
It appeared that it had not been cleaned before my check in front the previous guest.
The pool is advertised but not for use, yet, the front desk clerk cited, city inspection, etc for the reason the pool was not available.
No phone in room as advertised with the choice that I booked.
Toilet continued to leak with each flush.
I asked the front desk about it again as well as status on pool use.
I was told maintenance request was put in when I reported it.
No update.
Same result with pool use, no update.
Upon reading reviews, my daughter shared, the pool has been unavailable for use for quite sometime.
I suggested that it should not be offered as an amenity.
Toilet still leaked and finally, on Monday the 30th, it filled to the top and would not drain.
I went to the front desk Monday evening to ask if there were any bathrooms on the floor for guest usage.
The front desk clerk had no maintenance request update for the toilet , so he opted to change me into a different room.
I pack up all my things onto the courtesy cart and went to the front desk.
The clerk then led me to room 301.
Room 301, the sink was clogged and full of water.
I didn’t enter that room so he changed my room and said upgraded me to room 326, nearby.
I went inside with cart to check around.
It was a suite with a living room type setting, table chairs, and separate room with bed.
I didn’t use the bathroom but he did make sure that he said he checked it and there were towels.
I noticed that there was no usable closet type space.
The “closet” was screwed closed and behind it was some type of
There were blankets and towels in the room.  He checked first while I had to gather my things from the refrigerator.
I had to go downstairs with my cart to get the key, again.
The room was very musty but again there were towels and a blanket on the bed I did use.
The bathroom tub was in eerily similar condition, stained tub, leaking sink but the toilet was okay.
This place was just not clean in too many ways!
I went down on Tuesday morning to talk to the manager who had just stepped out but was expected back momentarily.
I asked if she would contact me to discuss the situation of issues that I had had since my arrival.  I was told that she would contact me as this room DID have a phone.  That was around 10:45 am.
No contact.  As I was heading out for appointments, and in a hurry, I stopped by the front desk and did speak to the manager.
It was close to 1-1:30 by that time.
I was offered a refund for the nights I wasn’t going to stay if I checked out.  It was far too late, past 11 that day and I had obligations so I opted to possibly check out the following day but the conversation ended with that I was going to let her know.
I had also asked if I could go back to room 444 if the toilet had been fixed, but she was uncertain?
The following morning , I was loading the courtesy cart with my unneeded items when the front desk clerk knocked on the door and said that I was marked for checkout.  I said that I had left the conversation with the manager as I described so I hadn’t yet contacted her about checking out.
The encounters I had with staff had been pleasant until that point.
She was very rude.
I ended up loading up ALL of my things and putting them into my car with the certain intention of checking out.
I clarified that  me room to room was the only accommodation she was able to offer under the current circumstances and she said yes, but she could take a little off of a nights price.
She refunded me for the nights I didn’t stay.
I had to go down and ask how to get  the channels work on the tv and was instructed on how to do that.  I had to do that each time I turned the tv on.
The front desk employees tried to con me out of paying for an extra night even though I already paid for it. The room was mediocre at best didn’t even have the bath cleaned out. I had to do it myself just to take a shower. I recommend that you go to other hotel options across the city.
pool? closed. workout room? closed. hotel breakfast coffee machine? you guessed it, doesn't work. what they don't tell you until you check in is that the place is fully under construction and there's tools laying everywhere. also I saw someone pee in the elevator. the staff is nice, the woman at least seems like she's trying but I could've had a better experience sleeping under a bridge. also their customer care line is a robot so there's nothing to do to remedy any of this. I've slept in crack houses that were maintained better.
Do not recommend this hotel. It is hard to get to off of the highway. Basic items were missing in the room. The toilet paper holder was broken and laying on the floor of the bathroom. Walls are thin and you can hear people in the next room. They offer breakfast but don't count on it. Just some bread, cereal and a broken coffee machine.
We had 2 rooms. Both rooms weren't clean, we didn't realize the 2nd wasn't fully clean until 10pm when we went to take a shower and had no towels, there was already trash in the trash can, and the soaps were already open and there was hair in the tub. When we asked for towels the front desk made us come down and didn't apologize for there being no towels and they asked how many we wanted... How about the standard amount please? Nope they don't carry all the towels there so they gave us a few and we had to deal with it. We also noticed no trash bags in our main trash can and the cable box wasn't plugged in proper as well as the phone didn't match our room. number. What a joke
Very rude staff especially the gentleman that works over night. Sat on his phone with his ear buds while helping me but kept going back to his conversation while I was standing right there waiting to be helped. Extremely rude and trashy hotel.
