Hotel cleanliness overall is amazing! Room was perfect and very spacious. Pool and hot tub are very large. Breakfast had many options and great views of mountains through the windows. It's a beautiful hotel that i will definitely stay at in the future!
Most reviews have the same thoughts...overpriced, but there are not other choices. The hotel seems to be old and remodeled. The remodel is good and makes the hotel reasonably comfortable. Nothing special about the breakfast bar. There seems to be a trend with the hotels we stayed in during this trip and that is all the coffee is weak and bad or just weak. We stayed at 6 hotels this trip and had the same comment about coffee for all of them. What happened...and we are not coffee snobs. In room coffee was better than the breakfast bar for those that had a Keurig. The rooms were neat and clean with all the usual amenities. The staff was very friendly and efficient.
Positive: "" Negative: The breakfast was okay at best compared to previous stays here. The sausages were not browned and barely cooked. The person working in the breakfast area did not appear to want to be there. Bringing back a waffle maker would be a great asset.
Beautiful pool and very nice relaxing hot tub. Fresh served full course breakfast. Perfect stopover for road trippers or vacation stay. My only complain is this felt bit overpriced ($285 tax incl) for Monday night late fall stay for a standard room, realizing all other cheaper options in the city were closed for the season.
I felt that this hotel was way overpriced for how dated it was. However, the next cheapest hotel was 30 miles away. It was worth paying to be less than 5 minutes from the park. ||The staff was super nice, I felt safe, it was quiet. The breakfast was clean and okay, although the eggs tasted like they were a powder mix. There were construction cones in the parking lot making the area in front of reception inaccessible by car, but you could still walk through it.
My sister booked us a room for a weekend. The hotel was nice, clean, helpful. I forgot my Kindle in our room after we left. When I called to ask if anyone found it, they immediately offered to ship it to me. I just received it in the mail. I really appreciated this customer service!
Pros:
Loved the lobby area.

Good proximity to downtown.
Cons:
Reception people failed to greet guests with a smile or greeting. Every time. Would help the hotels image.
Water escaped the shower and ran all the way across the bathroom. Might need a break.
Very little work space at vanity or in the room itself for preparing coffee/tea.
Went here during our visit to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Great location- just a short walk from the town of Medora and right near the park. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Not too many other amenities. On the whole, would recommend.
