Best WLM Reviews

This hotel is a poor choice for anyone wanting to enjoy their weekend away. The pool and hot tub are closed and appear to have been closed for months. There were hairs in the bed and crumbs on the floor. Everything appears to have been neglected for years. It was an embarrassment to invite our friends to stay here with us. Our stay has literally ruined what was an otherwise great getaway. If anyone is looking to stay somewhere, take my advice and pay the extra money and stay somewhere else.
I loved the cozy feel of this Inn! The decor was really neat and old timey and made me feel at home. Very nice staff as well. Comfy, clean, and quiet! They also kept my belt I left in the room and had it for me when I returned, what service!
This was the most disgusting hotel I've seen in years. As I was checking in the guest in front of me had come up to request a different room because of a disgusting smell when they walked in the room (they tried to give me this room when my first room wasn't acceptable). The staff was nice, but I got to my room and the light in the bathroom was broken (missing a cover), the TV didn't work, the phone wasn't working, and the door to the ironing board closet was broken. I went back to the reception desk and requested a different room, and they gave me the same room the previous guest had rejected. I went back to the desk and requested to cancel my reservation so I could go to another hotel. The manager was nice and tried to put me in a better room. The third room was better, but I discovered the toilet wouldn't flush and tried to call the front desk, but that phone didn't work either. I went back downstairs and canceled my reservation and found a different hotel (there was another family also canceling their room when I was canceling mine). The pool was "closed for maintenance" and looked like it hadn't been open for some time. The front desk was disgusting (very dirty) and the hotel was in disrepair in general (the photos online are incredibly deceiving). I will most likely not stay in another Wyndham hotel after this experience.
The hotel itself was nice and clean, but the customer service skills of Sierra, the front desk clerk, is in need of much improvement.
Plus website says pet friendly, but sign on the door says 'No Pets', just a bit confusing.
Definitely have stayed at better hotels, for a lower cost.
I’m not sure if they have an ownership or management/staffing issue, but my experience here was not great.
When I arrived a little after 10 PM, I checked in with the front desk and got my room assignment. I proceeded to the room given, which to my shock I found to be in disarray, and possibly with someone already occupying (but not present) the room, or had not been cleaned from the previous occupant. Bed was a mess, towels on the floor, and a food box left on top of a dresser. I swiftly returned to the front desk to let them know, and was offered a different room. There was a half hearted apology, which tells me this isn’t a first time occurrence. Not even an offer to make things right or at least offer something for the inconvenience. Just an excuse that “the coworkers switched up rooms and didnt tell the desk”.
After getting my new room assignment, I went to the 3rd floor to the new room. The hallway was missing a large section of carpet, leaving an exposed slab of concrete. Luckily this was just a few doors past the room I was now assigned.
The new room appeared to be in better shape than the previous one, but didn’t feel like it had been properly cleaned in quite awhile (found a plastic tab on the floor which would have been cut off of a new piece of clothing). This was a quick indication that it’s probably been awhile since a vacuum had been run in that room. Carpets were in relatively rough and worn condition, mostly stained and just beyond their life expectancy. Bedding had a hole in it (as pictured). The biggest red flag here was the missing safety card on the door to indicate where to go in case of an emergency in the building (also pictured). I feel that this missing placard has got to be a major safety violation, and a fire marshall would have the hotel itself shut down until these are replaced. It would be safe to say that if there was one missing in my room, it’s highly likely that they are missing in several other rooms as well. There also might have been a rodent in the ceiling that I heard scrambling around 6 AM.
Bed was relatively comfortable, and AC worked fine. TV was alright as well, but have definitely had better entertainment options at less expensive hotels before. But that is a minimal issue compared to the rest of the above things.
Breakfast in the AM is ok, but not great. Options are decent for hot foods, but a lack of drink options was a major miss for me.
Pool was closed (wasn’t planning on swimming anyway). Gym was of unknown status, but I did walk by it when going to my first room, so I cant speak to its condition.
Wyndham corporate needs to evaluate this location pretty closely. Either ownership doesn’t care about the quality of the product they are putting out there, or the staff/management has mutinied against the ownership and frankly doesn’t care about what they are doing.
I will definitely say that it might be worth paying a little more to stay somewhere nicer, further south of this hotel. I would not recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place that feels like the staff really cares about the hotel and product they present to the public.
Terrible experience. Filthy lobby, incompetent staff, and a broken room door. Stains everywhere, including bodily fluid marks on the mattress. Jacuzzi water was filthy. This place is more of a motel, and a terrible one at that. Do yourself a favor—stay far, far away.
I won't be back. Room was livable and bed was comfy but carpet felt damp and unclean, furnishings were older, shower was not real clean and water was cool. Lots of little things. The breakfast was pretty good though, that's a plus.
Everything was out of order. Pool; waiting on part. Hot tub; waiting on part. Guest laundry; out of order, didn't ask. Fitness foom; broken down. Breakfast only if there are enough guest registered.. For three floors, only one ice maker by lobby. Bed looked like it was made by a teenager. First lightswitch at the door turned the clock-radio off & on instead of the lamp..
(I remedied that myself)
