Best WLM Reviews

Room was spacious and clean. Well stocked with towels. Bed was firm, but comfortable and pillows were great.I booked late so was in a pool facing room, but people and noise stopped at quiet time. Had a drink and appetizer at the bar. Staff was polite and efficient. Yes, the hotel is aged a bit, but everything seemed in working order with no mildew or musty smells. Would definitely stay here again.
Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating, e.g. early check-in. Bed comfortable. Easy parking. Was very quiet but we were here in the off-season. Price reasonable. Very large facility with indoor and outdoor recreation and dining spaces. ||The building does need some freshening up, especially pool area. Seems to suffer from high volume summer season traffic. Local staff has no control over such a large-scale project. Corporate needs to look into shaping the place up a bit. ||All in all we enjoyed our stay.
Great location along the river in LaCrosse - in the center of many attractions & restaurants. Staff was very friendly & accommodating. Hotel is a bit older, yet kept clean. The pool area looked fantastic for families with children. Continental breakfast was ok & did have some protein options. Overall a nice stay.
Stayed for four days and three nights at this hotel, and it was a mixed experience. The pool was lovely, perfect for our kids and we enjoyed starting the day with the many breakfast options, which were amazing. The location on the water was a definite highlight, providing a nice view and easy access to nearby attractions.
However, the room itself was quite standard, nothing special. During our stay, housekeeping never came once—we had to empty our own garbage and go without fresh towels. Tried reaching the front desk three times for assistance, but no one ever answered. It was clear the staff was unavailable, which was disappointing and impacted our overall experience.
The pool area was great for our toddler! Great to have a hotel with a toddler friendly area too. Parking lot was not crowded at all and we went during the Oktoberfest celebration. Fast Check in and Check out service. Room was huge! (we book a 2 double bed room). Only down side if I had to pick one, would be I felt the walls must be thinner because you did hear through them more than normal from the pool area or neighbors. But noise was down after 10pm noise cut off and the pool closed.
Just not what I expected from an AmericInn or Wyndham property. Carpet needs updating and had not been vacuumed well (obvious dust and debris near the wall and in the corners). As someone else mentioned, molding caulk (and grout) in the bathroom. As for the walls being thin, we could hear someone in the next room snoring and had to leave the bathroom fan running to provide white noise so we could sleep. The continental breakfast had no fruit. As someone who can’t eat a lot of foods because of allergies/intolerances, I don’t expect to be able to eat much there but I can usually count on at least a bit of fruit. The location was nice right on the river, the staff were all pleasant, and the pool area was nice. This property needs some attention and it has so much potential to be a real gem with some improvements.
Great room with quick access to events in La Crosse. The pool area was clean and had perfect accommodations for kids. There is a kiddie pool, regular pool with a slide and a hot tub. I also noticed guest laundry and a fitness room, but didn’t use. Breakfast had a good variety of food and was still fully stocked when we arrived 20 minutes before closing. I highly recommend for price and convenience.
We booked two rooms for one night and both were disappointing. The furniture is extremely outdated and chipping paint, half of the lamps didn’t work, there was food splattered on the wall, hair in the sink and the toilet, the ceiling was chipping paint, there were cobwebs and dead insects in every corner of the room. The breakfast was horrendous. It seems like the owners only care about making profit and couldn’t care less what condition the rooms are. The location is the best part about this hotel, we were 5 minutes away from downtown, which was convenient.
