On short notice decided to stay in Fort Dodge. Booked a room here, check in was quick, staff was very friendly and polite, our room was very clean, beds were comfy, breakfast was very good, and it was quite! Will definitely be returning!
Positive: Just about everything. The location and ease to enter and exit from major roads was excellent. Check-in was quick and easy. Room was clean and spacious with good interior lighting, a fully functioning A/C unit, comfortable bed and good shower. Negative: Breakfast was disappointing. 3 of the 6 mornings there were no eggs offered, just 1 or 2 kinds of sausage. Unacceptable!
Had problems checking in. their system was not working properly. But we finally got a room. All was well the night, slept good. This morning we were greeted by a slow shower drain and standing in water.
don’t book here. Rooms are dirty bathrooms dirty and I hope you don’t book this place because of the bar. It’s close according to lady at the desk who is a gem herself they closed it months ago but still have the hours and post specials. Had we known it wasn’t open we wouldn’t have booked here. Better off sleeping in your car
Clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff. Was impressed staff told my brother “thank you for your service” when we checked in. We were up there for the Honor Flight.
Appears management and staff do not care. Bath shower curtain covered with black mold spots, no cold water at sink, poor room lighting and at sink. Pool ice cold and water murky. Lobby furniture dirty, guest computer station chair needs immediate replacement. Several spots and stains on hotel carpets.
Visitors not allowed in the pool. Came to visit a friend and have our kids swim and we were followed by the desk clerk and told to leave immediately. Hotel had six cars in the parking lot- not busy at all. He was very rude.
Don’t plan on brining a water into the pool. You might pass out from heat exhaustion but the new guy up front will chase you down.
