I would recommend looking elsewhere for your hotel needs especially if you have toddlers. We paid extra for a tub, and it didn’t even hold water. Water stains on the bathroom ceiling made it evident that they don’t fix their plumbing issues very quickly. The toilet was hard to flush. Outlets and light switches were a quarter of an inch sunk into the wall. The sheets were scratchy. Housekeeping took out trash and replaced most towels, but they did not make the bed. My card was turned off, so I had to go to the front office to get it working again. I told them about the tub, but nothing was done.
I stayed for two nights. Was pleased with room. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Seemed pretty clean. Felt safe and noticed huge police department located Nextdoor to hotel. They were pet friendly and made it easy to check in with my furry friend. Would stay again definitely next visit through town!
The room had an odd smell. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was very hard and made noise every time you moved. My wife and I had to sleep in separate bed as we both use CPAP's, and plugs were only on one side of bed. The bathroom was what really brought the experience down. There was mold in the tiles of the showere surround. The staff was very nice but they were booked up so no new room. We were traveling spur of the moment due to a family emergency so we just dealt with it. But come one a little bit of elbow grease and bleach cleaner will clean it up. This is my first bad experience at an Americinn. I stayed at the same place around 7yrs ago and it was great. My son loved the pool and the continental breakfast was good.
Pretty disgusting. Everything about this place is suspect. Deserves negative stars.
Electricity flickered, outlets didn't work, wood cabinet falling apart and wood dust all over the floor (unvacuumed floor).
MOLD drips from the ceiling! Also there was a fire alarm but it was missing...
There was a HOLE IN THE DOOR allowing for looking and listening directly into our room! What the hell?!?!?!?!?
Toilet shifts, the windows don't lock, and the room REEKS of Dog Piss. There is bug residue EVERYWHERE and general filth all over. It was very unclean and just filthy!
Breakfast was cold and milk was chunky.
Meat tasted sour and made me rethink my life choices after having slight diarrhea.
Pool was brown and NOTHING like the photos. In fact NOTHING in our experience was even close to an average or poor stay. Can only be described as filthy and run-down. Deserves negative 2.5 stars.
Air conditioning in room did not work and bedding was stained. Asked for refund or different room. 2nd room was also filthy. Asked for refund. Manager refused. Did not stay! Left and stuck paying for room. Would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.
Beds were good but the bathroom could have used a good deep cleaning. Dirty washcloth left on the toilet tank. |Floor was nasty.. |We had to skip breakfast .. because there wasn’t anything worth eating.. cereal, a couple of apples and some yogurt in a fridge that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. |Watery coffee with no creamer left. (8:30am) |One little muffin and one dried out piece of bread left. |The food holder was empty except for some dirty looking warm water. No one to wipe down the mess that people left behind on counters/tables etc.|Decided to skip it and just fill my water mug with ice but the ice machine was filthy.. If it’s that filthy on the outside my guess is the inside hadn’t been sanitized for a long time if ever.|Would NOT recommend
Bathroom only had only 1 set of towels, tub was rusty & tile needed work, Cracker crumbs in the bed when covers were thrown back, carpet was not vacuumed AND breakfast was sparce. Biscuits & gravy was the hot food - BUT saw a staff member put the little bit of leftover gravy BACK into the container instead of the trash for use the following day. VERY DISCUSTED
Booked through a 3rd party but was taken by surprise when I was advised of a $160 CASH deposit if I’m local. I was unable to get cash as I had paid using a credit card. I was put in a position where I couldn’t even stay at the hotel. The manager kept telling me that if all I needed was $160 in cash and he would put it in an envelope (they keep a stack of everyone’s cash in white envelopes at the front desk) and I could get it when I checked out. I kept telling him that I cannot stay as my card isn’t set up to withdrawal from. Trying to dispute my charges through capital one as we speak.
