Best WLM Reviews

We stayed here because I couldn't get a room at the Hampton Inn. This was the next closet to where we needed to be. We looked at prior reviews and it was mixed. We got to stay in a newly renovated room. The bathroom is small. The shower was a good size with a rain shower head very nice. However the bathroom was small you stand in the shower to close the door or straddle the toilet. My son was concerned about the bed bug reviews. So he checked the bed really well. There were NO bedbugs. The desk chair had a broken arm so we didn't use it. The place was quiet no loud other guests. The place was very clean.
So we checked in with a 2 night stay. When we arrived there was a long black air on the hair conditioner bottle, a giant ball of black hair in the bathroom, and a black hair on the bathroom sink. We left mid day for an event and came back at 11pm and the room still was not cleaned. It looked like all they did was collect the towels, nothing else was done or cleaned. Would never stay again.
The Americinn by Wyndham in Burlington, WI was in a great location for its proximity to The Landing at 1841 wedding venue nearby and had very affordable rates with a Fall special. We found the staff was very pleasant to work with when calling with questions or requests, prior to checking in.
The disappointing part was the room itself. While it had updated finishes and met our basic needs there were some really annoying shortfalls. There were 3 lamps in the room, but only 1 lamp on the desk worked. Both lamps on either side of the bed either didn't work or didn't even have a light bulb. The mattresses were excessively soft, but the pillows were surprisingly fluffy. Only 1 bar of soap was supposed to be adequate for both the bathroom sink in the room AND the room with the shower and toilet. The rain shower head in the ceiling was miserable to shower in unless you wanted to wash your hair. (Had to stand to one side to awkwardly take a shower and not ruin your hair.) The most annoying omission was the non-existence of any towel rods OR hooks in the room. Absolutely NOWHERE to hang your towel or clean clothes....what? on the floor? The last straw had to be the total absence of any kleenex in the room. I have never stayed in a hotel that didn't have any kleenex!
*Heads up to housekeeping; please clean the corners of the rooms, DUST the tops of the fridges, and defrost the freezers. We had two rooms and these issues were present in both rooms.
Was going to give this place good reviews all around because I’d seen some bad ones that I thought were a little bit too harsh. The price we got was okay. The first night we stayed was fine as well. But the second night, after driving 4 hours to get here the day before and going thru an entire wedding and rehearsal dinner, we were clearly exhausted and from the time we came in all we heard were people partying. It smelled like weed in the hall way, there were drunk loud ppl in the lobby that were heard from our second floor room. And then they apparently were staying in the room across the hall. We have called front desk 7 times and gotten no answer. We finally had to ask some ppl to shut up but it turned out they were just part of a bigger problem. Even though they were rudely standing in the hall talking loud as hell, they took no responsibility. Won’t be staying here ever again. I’m thinking about calling the cops.
The location is exactly where I needed it to be. However, when I called in, I talked to a person who said her name was MEENA. Her English is atrocious. She could not understand what I am saying. Maybe the place is great. Maybe. Maybe it is clean and comfortable. But when front desk doesn't speak English it kills any and all desire to be a guest there. THIS IS USA. WE SPEAK ENGLISH HERE.
I stayed at this motel for a wedding and found it quite busy. The price was reasonable. We had a room with a hot tub that was clean and comfortable. The check-in process was incredibly easy, and the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed a pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay. For breakfast, we had delicious pancakes and scrambled eggs . Visit u guy's again!!!!
Room was dirty, smelled awful. Bed smelled very musty and dressers in the room had not been cleaned. The bathroom was not wiped down, shower had visible mold in it. Hallways were also very dirty, not a recommended place to stay
What a terrible hotel. We were in town for a wedding and no other choice available to us. The room smelled like a gym locker room. Bathroom door would not close completely. Bathroom was so small I had to step into the shower to attempt to close the door. Dirty, unkept and holes in the curtains. Paid a premium price for this place. I would advise everyone to stay away from this hotel. Sleeping in your vehicle would have been better advised.
