Had a great stay, the location did a terrific job. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, the shower had great pressure and all the hot water you could handle. The staff was courteous and welcoming. The breakfast was good too. Next time I’m in the area I’ll be staying with them again.
This was the worst motel experience I have ever had. The hallway to our room was being re-carpeted, that left bare carpet tack strips in the hallway. Very dangerous. We were not told of this when checking in. The outside door did not close all the way, it left us exposed to anyone coming in. We did not feel safe. The shower had black mold. We left as soon as we could.
Worst hotel room we had in a while…. Was our date night so we reserved a jacuzzi room which we paid nearly $200 for! Plans changed last minute and tried to cancel but couldn’t so decided to make the best of it. Very few cars in lot. Upon entering main entrance and seeing duct tape over pool door and lack of cleaning we reluctantly continued check in. Made it to room and it stunk like a cat litter box and mold. Had to convince my wife to stay and bought air freshener from store nearby to make it tolerable. Room was filthy 100% would NOT stay again nor recommend to anyone! Online pics are VERY deceiving! We received a pre check in email, an email letting us know if we needed anything after checking in but NOTHING about how was your stay!
The manager should be fired. This is the 3rd week I've been staying here because of work, but i wish I was able to go somewhere else after I came back from work to find someone had been in my room. Not house keeping, my garbages are still full and no new towels. I knew someone had gone all the way through my room because my curtains were left wide open. I found out a construction worker was in my room with the
manager to put a new ledge on the window. I have been in the room since Sunday and would be leaving tomorrow. I got no note or notification there was no warning or apology. That is so illegal. The manager should be fired.
All of the staff was polite and knowledgeable. The room was clean. The pool was open until late (11pm). Which was a relief as I didn't get to the hotel until after 10pm. It was relaxing to be in the hot tub after the long 5 hour drive. The breakfast area had lots of options and was well tended to by the staff.
This place is more expensive than nearby hotels but I have no idea why. Maybe the pool. But the breakfast was terrible. Much worse than the breakfast provided at less expensive places. There was just biscuits with some gloop that was probably meant to be gravy. It was quite gross. Nothing fresh. Gross packaged stuff you can find at the worst gas stations.
Really not the best - read the reviews before considering ! We stopped because we're headed to Chicago and it was conveniently placed near food (McDonalds) and i90. Check in was easy but our room smells of mold terrible. My daughter thought the floors were still drying from being "shampooed". This place is REALLY damp and I guarantee there's mold under the carpet. Our room was really dusty and the carpet unswept. Construction workers were in the parking lot tail gating all evening. The tub was rough too with mold in different spots of the caulking. Would not stay again.
Location is a bit off the interstate but definitely worth it. The hotel itself doesn't look super appealing on the outside, but the comfort you feel inside makes up for it. Definitely will stay there again in the future.
