Budget friendly hotel |The room looked recently remodeled.|Bathrooms were nice. They were completely tilled. Waterfall shower heads with great water pressure. New furniture in the rooms. Large refrigerators which was nice to see. |The staff were friendly. |Overall nice stay.
There was an odor to the entire building. The rooms were clean and sizable. A few minor niceties would really make a difference: a bar of soap, cups|In the bathroom and extra pillows. A USB port somewhere would be a homerun. Usually the TVs have a port but this one didn’t. |Overall the night was good. Quit and comfortable but the little thing would have made it much better.
The hotel itself was decent and having stayed there before I love that they have full sized fridges in the rooms. The female staff running the front desk this time was very rude. Our company books through a third party website that allows for a noon checkout while their hotel only does 11 am. She called our rooms threatening a late fee and said our reservation was wrong. When I tried to address this with her at the front desk, even showing her our confirmations, she was dismissive and acted like we were the ones in the wrong and she was doing us a favor.
Positive: The staff was extremely friendly, the room was clean and had all the basics, the bathroom was gorgeous and there was a full size fridge in the room. Negative: The outside looks a little rough and the doors/walls are very thin so you hear when someone comes in and out of their room. The pillows are a little stiff so I just suggest bringing your own Negative: ""
Ever since the new owners took over and hired that new maintenance man Rob, the atmosphere is better, the staff is friendlier and everything works like a charm. At one point I think my AC went out but That Rob guy had it fixed quick and easy. Not to mention all the remodeling! New bathrooms are awesome, I drive a truck and this went from just being a cheap place to stay, to a great place to stay.
The staff is absolutely AMAZING! From the front desk, to the housekeeping staff, and the maintenance workers. They are always quick to make sure you have everything you need and are comfortable. The location is very convenient to everything and not far from the interstate. The rooms are cozy, and beds are very comfortable, and the staff welcomes you like you are family everytime.
Positive: Absolutely nothing !!! Negative: The place was dark, dirty and it smelled poorly. I asked to get my money back. But the gentleman at the desk just asked me if I was going to leave. I told him I was couldnt stay in these conditions. Negative: ""
Place is an old dump - lipstick on a pig I like to call it. I should have figured when at $54 but booked quickly on phone and it was 4 miles off exit. Do yourself a favor spend the $100 on the newly built ones off exit. This place had people hanging outside that well let's put it this way - I napped 1 hour - used toilet and showered and left - drove 20 hrs that day felt much safer then staying at this place that some photos can't save. You can hear through the walls and certain odor in foyer/ lobby. Lady at counter was nice but that didn't save this rating.
