Expected the worse, especially after bad experience at Americas Best in Illinois. Rooms were hard to find so booked it anyway. Pleasantly surprised that it was clean and staff friendly, furnishings are dated. Don't expect more than a bar of soap or cup of coffee in the lobby, it is a budget room. McDonald's is right across the street. We came for a good night's sleep and hot shower.. we left refreshed.
I checked in Friday night, halfway through a seven hour trip, and checked out as soon as I walked into my room. It smelled of mold and BO, there was a dead palmetto bug in the tub, the bathroom smelled like they spilled a bottle of bleach in it, and there was hair on the blankets/sheets. The top lock on the door was broken, and the door itself seemed so thin it looked like you could kick it open.
The office was another fail entirely. You have to ring a bell to get an attendant, and she took her sweet time coming out, both times I went in there. I told her I wanted my money back and her response was I had to call corporate, which I will be doing first thing tomorrow.
Worn looking. Wore my shoes the entire time. Didn't want to sit on side chair dirty looking. No air on. Room had strange odor and got on my clothes. Mattress soft. Woke up with entire body aching . A shower was not an option.Didn't have coffee or breakfast bar even though there was a set up in lobby. People hanging outside around the motel. I didn't feel safe. Peeling paint on the outside doors.

Absolutely disgusting! We arrive in our non-smoking room after being in the car for 17 hours with our kids, to find an ashtray sitting on the nightstand. The lock for the door was broken, there was a slot on the wall for a smoke detector but it was missing, the room smelled like really bad body odor, the sheets had stains, questionable specks of debris, and hair all over them like they weren't even washed between uses, the walls were all marked up, ceiling had obvious water marks throughout, the shower was absolutely disgusting, the exhaust fan in said bathroom sounded like a 747, tiles and wallpaper literally falling off of the walls and the towels were questionable at best. We stayed for 30 minutes and they would not give us a refund. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE
I do not even want to give it a star. First they claim that we did not prepay after spending thirty minutes in the office they found our reservation. Second the shower is not working properly, our room is very dirty, and now air is broken. My sister and my two children are sweating and the desk clerk says I don't know what to do we have no rooms available. She comes in to look at the air and says it's working and it is clearly not due to us sweating. I review so people can be warned. Never stay here. 20 channels on TV and the ice machine is also broken. At this point they should pay me to stay here. As I say never ever stay in this hole. We also left and got our refund. And ps they had bed bugs.
I checked the room and thought it looked clean...nope. Stayed 1 night and found bedbug in the bed next morning. Showed front desk and was only offered a sorry. The motel should have gladly given a refund to offset some of my expense to make sure I didn't transport bugs home. Definitely do not recommend. You have to give at least 1 star to post but I do not give any stars.
I wanted to be able to give a better review of this place but when my husband pulled into the parking lot to check in and we were sitting in the car for a minute attending to our toddler, taking a breath from being on the road all day, and looking at the reviews of this hotel, a woman came out and rudely asked what we were doing and told us we couldn't park in their lot and that we should move our car to the Pizza Hut lot next door. This hotel had maybe 2 cars in it so they obviously don't want any business. We promptly checked in at the Days Inn next door, whose parking lot was almost completely full and whose front desk staff was possibly the friendliest we have ever encountered. We're sure the Days Inn was worth the extra $15--we got a comfy king size bed, a clean room with lots of hot water, and a free hot breakfast with sausage, gravy, eggs, waffles, fresh oranges, and espresso.
We checked in and went straight to our room. There were holes in the wall, gum on the headboard of one of the beds, and the bathroom was disgusting. We left and went to eat somewhere. When we got back we noticed that the cops were there. Something had happened in the parking lot. The hotel attendant showed no remorse for whatever had happened to the distressed woman that was crying to the police about what had happened. We left shortly after that with no refund.
I would suggest that no one stays here.
