Best WLM Reviews
I booked through an online site and the pictures show very nice renovated rooms. I know they actually have these rooms because the last time I stayed at this hotel they tried to give me a stinky nonupgraded room and I asked for a better one and they gave it to me.
This time they tried to stick me into a room that hasn't been renovated that is not at all like the pictures you are shown when you book. it looks old and nasty with decaying walls. To top all of that off the guy wanted to charge me an extra 30 per day to get one of those rooms this time. The old bait and switch. I cancelled my reservation on the spot as soon as I saw the room and I booked in a better location for what he wanted to charge me with the upgrade.
I was more angry with the attempt to get an extra $30 per day out of me than I was with the original bait and switch. I did end up paying $30 extra per night, but at an actual nice hotel in a nicer area.
Positive: Nothing. Negative: Noisy by traffic.Noisy by homeless people all through the nightI parking lot like a homeless encampment, dirty everywhere, outside and inside the room.Room heater did not work at all. Overall disgusting.
The check-in office closes at midnight so if you arrive any later you are screwed. Their cable is vintage yet the TV is modern. The room was clean and comfortable and the location offers a lot of nearby restaurants even a Denny's that is conspicuously located a footstep away.
Was driving from the central valley and needed a place to rest for the night, with my mom. I was praying for a location off the freeway where we could get food and a good night's sleep. I noticed a Dennys from the 101fwy. I exited and followed the signs. We needed a break. While we were enjoying a meal at Dennys, I noticed a hotel just across the parking lot. Looks like my prayers were answered. The staff at America's Best Inn are very helpful and understanding. I needed a downstairs room because my mom isn't able to climb stairs. My mother and I had a very restful sleep. As we woke up in the morning we were ready for the travels of the day. Truly grateful for the accommodations.????????
Opted for a cheaper, unrenovated room, and sorry we did. The shower took FOREVER to get hot water with a complicated tap set. Pillows were thin, cheap, uncomfortable pillows. Price was $110/ night when online was $70, but there was only a smoking room available online with no room to upgrade to a non-smoking room.
The lady behind the front desk was super nice and gave some good local food options but apparently don't get tacos around here so I'm told if you know good tacos but that's not a reflection on the hotel, just some sound advice I heard.
Positive: Very friendly staff that were willing to accommodate my requests. The beds are comfortable and it is nice and quiet day and night. The location is great with plenty of stores to shop and restaurants within walking distance. The room rates are great. Negative: Only dislike was that I didn't find out about this hotel sooner which would have led to me saving money. Negative: ""
so this place is under remodel soon. the staff are very friendly. they serve coffee the lobby is nice. the price is good for what you get. make sure to ask for non smoking rooms. they are accommodating and friendly.. the housekeepers do there best for what they have . thank you to the housekeepers. it's just an older run down motel that owner said they will be remodeling soon. I'm sure it will get better. I appreciate the managers efforts in making accommodations.
Positive: It is very quiet and peaceful. Negative: They did not give complimentary massages.
