I've stayed at this hotel twice, and the first time was much better than the second. Non-smoking rooms are in better condition than Smoking. There aren't any bugs, but the rooms are in desperate need of repairs and upgrades. The bathroom door doesn't shut and was half busted and very poorly painted with multiple colors, there is a hole in the ceiling, and the floor is uneven. The drawer was filled with trash and cigar butts and ash.
Staff is really nice though and the location is wonderful. Probably won't be back unfortunately though.
2 stars overall at best.. The individual at check in was very friendly so nothing negative toward our personal interaction with the staff, however, pulling up to check out the morning after our stay with some one employed at the hotel driving a Porsche AND Mercedes was super indicative & telling. This hotel is NOT taken care of. The sheets & towels were changed, but those were the only two aspects of any sort of cleanliness. The only reason we actually stayed after we got into our room was because we were so tired from road tripping. There were literally GLASS shards on the floor (we have a dog so I had to clean it up out of worry she would step on it). Then the toilet, tub, and floors were filthy, I couldn’t not wear shoes in the room. I expected it to have old furniture & not be a modern stay by any means, but there is NO WAY that place is up to code and needs to be inspected. At the end of the day we were grateful the heater worked in the room to have a warm place to sleep & a roof over our head, but I couldn’t not write a review to hopefully spark the clearly well-off employee/owner to get it together and provide a reasonable place for people to stay & to prevent others from experiencing what we did if nothing does change. Please, take care of other people, they pay you to have a decent place to crash for a night & support a small town business.
Found a family of cockroachs under the fridge nd the bathrooms are rusty and old bad service aswell pls everyone be safe
If I could give 0 stars I would! Do not stay here unless you want the owner and manager to fraudulently double charge your card & refuse to fix it! I was traveling across the state with my husband who is an amputee. He was having his prosthetic fitted an adjusted. Last night upon check in they charged me $68.47 then they also additional charged me $80.47 . I only stayed one. They have refused to refund the money they fraudulently charged to my account without my consent or to even let us stay another day for the second charge. They cleaned my account out an I’m unable to travel back across the state to get home now. I am having to make a police report for the theft an file a complaint with the BBB. There are roaches in the rooms. The bathtub had hair in it still. Under the beds had old beer bottles and trash. The ac barely works. The door keys also do not work ever. They have to come with a master key to unlock it. The owners have given me issues both times I have stayed here and each time they have committed a felon by fraudulently charging my card & then refusing to make it right. The health department needs to do inspect this place . There will be a police investigation as well as civil suit and an irs investigation for the blatant theft. If you have stayed here and had any of these issues I would recommend definitely filing complaints with the BBB, the city inspector for code enforcement, the irs, & any other agency they may be able to assist you in your complaints. I was repeatedly told today after they blatantly committed a felony stealing from me and fraudulently charging my card that ITS JUST BUSINESS!
Pool not in service, empty vending machines, nosey housekeeping, stingy with the towels room cards take forever to get doors open...
We stayed there in spite of some bad reviews we are glad we stayed the lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful the room was very clean and it was quiet no problems at all the bed was comfortable price was good highly recommend this place to stay we will stay again no bugs just a great place
When we called to ask, we were told that no pets were allowed, and then they hung up on us. Was told one price ($60) and at the front ended up paying more ($70) with a guarantee of our deposit back (another $20). The issue is when we called a week later because we never received our deposit and was told it was a bank issue. Here we are 2 weeks later and was told the same thing. Would not recommend. Honestly only stayed because we needed rest for the night.
The place is in terrible condition. Everything is very old and run down. The beds are very uncomfortable, there was food in the microwave someone else left, the TV doesn't work, there's dead crickets on the carpet, which I'll admit is better than live ones, but still, not very clean. The sheets look stained. Just all in all the worst Best Value Inn we've stayed in, and I've been in many. I know it's not a luxury hotel, but this is pretty terrible. The guy at the front desk is very polite, but the hotel I can't recommend.
