We decided to stay here while we were evacuating the hurricane and they had claimed they had two rooms available but when we got there the lady at the front was just grouchy and rude sayin that "it wasnt coming up on her screen". So after sorting that out, we walk in and the entire place reaks of cigarettes and a vomit odor. Our beds were wrinkled and weren't put together nicely at all, and the sheets of our bed had dog fur on them. Orange stains on the three provided towls in the bathroom, as well as mold growing in the shower door. We didn't expect much from the breakfast area, and it was just as mediocre as we thought it would be. After we had gotten breakfast, we came back to see that our room was already getting cleaned. BEFORE WE EVEN CHECKED OUT. Overall a low budget place and is most definitely NOT " americas best".
I walk in and see roaches scrambling on the table under the TV. Check the bed for bedbugs which there were no love bedbugs but I did find 2 dead ones. There are sticky traps loaded with cockroaches under the beds and all. If you're ab cleanliness and don't like bugs stay away from this motel.
I really enjoyed my stay both times. Marilyn (sorry if it's spelled wrong) is awesome. We hit it off right away and I was really happy that she remembered me when i came back.
The rooms aren't fancy but they are good, the service is awesome, the staff are fantastic and I'll be back ????
They advertise in the travel coupon publication you can pick up at rest areas that the rooms are $69/night. The publication also has an app that shows you offers in multiple states. I called to check availbility & mentioned the coupon. I was told they had rooms available & would be happy to honor the coupon.The front desk person tried to refuse the coupon bc it was in the app & not printed. It was for that exact location! We ended up paying slightly over the coupon price before tax but at 1am and having been driving all day all we wanted was a hot shower & sleep. Such a let down bc the bismarck nd location was so amazing! Oh and there was no continental breakfast and there were hairs on one of the pillow cases. Might want to avoid the Morrow/Mt Zion location
Room was clean and everything worked fine. Staff was VERY nice and made sure I was looked after. For $94 this place is great for something I found just pulling off the highway.
I come from what many would consider a “boujee” lifestyle so I take cleanliness and sanitation very seriously. Many of the reviews you see for this Motel aren’t even for this location and that is unfair for this location. This Motel is one of the nicest motels I’ve ever stayed at. It is an older motel so of course some things and a bit dated but this is ATLANTA…… BELIEVE ME it gets FAR worse. They do a very good job keeping these rooms clean. Are they perfect? No but that’s why this isn’t a 5 star hotel. It’s a MOTEL yet many come here expecting it to be the Hilton or something. Rooms aside, what makes this hotel worth every penny and what keep me coming back every time is the lovely lady at the front desk who will greet you with open arms and a lovely smile. Thank you Marilyn for making my stays easy, relaxing, and fun. Working on the road can be stressful and lonely and having a nice smile and someone to talk to is worth more than money can buy. Give this place a try y’all. I promise you guys will not regret it!
Nicest staff ever! Convenient location off of I-75 and some great restaurants across the street. Quiet area and look like place has been improved significantly compare to my last year visit. This is my goto hotel to stay when I am in area and its always pleasant stay! Rooms were clean and property is clean all around. Easy to get in and out. We had other friend with trailer with their car and lots of parking space to easily park that. Will always stay here when in area.
Comfortable stay and friendly staff! Affordable hotel without compromising on quality compare to other hotels in area. The staff was exceptionally friendly, always going the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. The convenient location, with nice restaurants nearby. Also, being close to the airport was a huge plus. The rooms were clean and offered a decent level of comfort. We will surely back and stay here when visit family in this area.
