The lady at check in was very nice, as well as the lady at checkout, The room was pretty dirty when I arrived, I moved the mattress to position the bed onto the frame a bit better, and. A bunch of chips, cotton, and a bloody paper towel fell out.. ???? The carpet had plenty of burns from some sort of straight and circular object. There were a couple of roaches in the mini-refrigerator, but after I stomped on them, I didn't see any more of them. I just kept my opened food in my car. The first night was not too loud, but the second night, there were people outside my door drinking, being loud, and listening to music. It didn't bother me much, but if you're a light sleeper, it may be something to consider. They even offered me a beer, which was nice of them. They have coffee and a bar in the main lobby, as well as ice & vending machines towards the middle of the establishment. Overall, it was a decent day place to get some rest before moving on down the road.
The rooms need to be deep cleaned. You can see the soap scum in the showers . Not to mention there is hair on the shower wall from someones razar... Found a ball of grey hair in the bed.. wrap around my foot.. I'm so grossed out right now ????????????
The rooms are clean and the staff is great. By far the best service I've had at a hotel. The only issue is that the owner insists on advertising as pet friendly yet refuses to allow cats. (The friendliness and service provided by the manager and his staff did a lot to offset this, though.)
It's overall affordable. The bag breakfast is pretty disappointing. But hey, they have breakfast.
The beds are nice. I love the pillows. the bathroom are old but clean. The a/c works like a beast and the housekeepers don't miss a beat. Check out before checkout time.
The hotel has regulars that live there full time. The ones in the room next to us wanted to drink and smoke pot all night, which made it smell like pot in our room. We didn't want to leave our car unattended but had no choice. We had already booked on a site and no refund. So we stayed and we are warning you.... DON'T! When we left, to our horror we saw a baby in the doorway of the pot heads next door.
I booked this hotel for my dad when he came to visit me in and was absolutely DISGUSTED by what he experienced. When I walked in with him to help him check in the lobby/restaurant smelled like a mix of cigarettes and marijuana, and when we got to my dad’s room it smelt the exact same. Around 11pm a group of young men dressed very rough pulled up outside his window and started blaring music and their base, my 55 year old father was honestly afraid to even walk past them to his car because he was alone and thought they may try to start a problem with him. After making a run to his car he went to the front desk and after being very pushy with the lady she switched his room. The new room again wreaked like marijuana and had sticky residue all over the counters and dresser. I would give this hotel 0 stars if I could. It felt like an extremely dangerous place to be at night whether you’re alone or not.
Top quality in service and amenities. The rooms were ultra clean and comfortable. Plus the wildlife is very entertaining after dark. There is usually a heavy police presence, so you feel completely safe and sound. 10 out of 10! Highly recommended!
I got the sleep I needed as a traveling Medical Assistant/CNA. Automatically I'm a germphobe, the place could be a LOT better taken care of. Visible stains on the walls, bed head. Yes, I wiped the place down, but I got what I paid for. I had a lil fridge where I stored my breakfast for the next day, nice and cold to my surprise! America Best Value Inn, also has a lounge, which is nice for insomniacs and those who enjoy a stiff drink, like to socialize, as well as entertainment. (Big screen TV, pool, bar). The establishment also has a swimming pool, which is always very clean may I add! Not my first rodeo at this hotel. I enjoy staying there, due to no bugs,( I'm sorry not sorry but had to put that out there.) I have paid more and seen much worse sleeping environments. This hotel is close to 95, 192, US1, which is great if one travels. Gas stations, restaurants nearby to walk to, firecracker place that's huge; is a must see right across the street!!
