Good location and friendly staff but otherwise disappointing. The hotel was advertised as having a pool and providing breakfast; neither is true. The pool has clearly been out of action for some time as most of the hotel complex is being refurbished. Similarly, due to storage of construction materials, the breakfast area is out of bounds to guests and no food or drink is available. In addition, the room we stayed in was in urgent need of upgrade and smelled of stale tobacco / cannabis smoke. The room rate is significantly overpriced bearing in mind these issues.
"Best Value Inn"? Not in my view!
Positive: The price Negative: My room was not clean before I came when I asked for the bathroom to be cleaned. I was told it is clean. I took pictures it is mold on the wall. Toilet filthy. Spider crawling on the ceiling. Housekeeping came the next day still didn?t clean the room.
Customer service was great, but the room had a pest issue. Other than that it had comfortable beds and a cool little continental breakfast in the morning!
Very nice front desk staff on check-in. Hallway to our room was dimly lit. Our room was very clean smelled like bleach however, beds were clean the neatly made. Deadbolt and door does not work and water from the sink when we put it in a cup was brown. Shower water has a very strong sulfur smell so just be prepared for that. At $66 for the night at least it’s warm and dry however probably will choose a different place the next time we come through town.
The hotel was being removed but it wasn't mentioned when I booked it online. Leak in the bathroom sink area, I damn near slipped in the shower and fell. I went to the office and asked for an iron but they gave me one that didn't work. I went right back to the office to ask for another one and they didn't have one available so I was asked to come back the next morning, the clerk apologized for not having one. I then had to go to a relative house to iron my clothes. I will never stay there again. Management was terrible.
The room was not clean and there were small round holes in the bed “topper”. The small fridge needed defrosting and a thorough cleaning. The worst problem was the road noise from large and small trucks. We were given a room in the front instead of one farther away from the traffic which was nearly constant until 2 AM. We were told we couldn’t change rooms.
Definitely needs a total remake. Friends are worn out, old, and dirty.
The bed linens had cigarette burn holes in them. The water was yellow and tasted terrible. But everybody that worked there was really friendly. If this place was as good as people we would have been great ????
The lady who checked me in, very sweet. Everything else about this place is terrible. I ordered two rooms side by side for my family and both rooms have poop smeared all over the bathroom walls. I think this place is on its last leg..
