Best WLM Reviews

The pictures make the rooms look better than what they really are! From BAD plumbing, non-flushing toilets and leaky faucets, to light fixtures and blow dryers - Literally falling off the walls! This place is a HOT MESS! And with all of these problems, they have the nerve to get $100 deposits! In fact, I made sure I got footage and images of rooms rented, so that I would be sure to get my deposit back. The furniture (chairs) looked like they are 60's style, dumpster throwbacks! In the first room the TV and toilet didn't work, the faucet was super leaky, and the hair dryer literally came off the wall when I tried to use it. These are just everyday issues, these are long ignored problems that were left u fixed for a long time! All of these issues don't just happen over night. Shame on the owner, who clearly is more interested in getting our $$$, than providing decent, working, accomodations. Code enforcement needs to come in and tag this entire place - SHUT IT DOWN.
Reading the reviews after booking this hotel really had me worried.. However, my family and I stayed here for 2 nights and at the price it was honestly fine. We were informed regarding the $150 deposit by the front desk and that it would take 2 weeks to return. It took about 10 minutes for me and my sister, 2 separate reservations, to check in. When we got to our room and realized our AC was not working, the front desk promptly moved us to another room. The room was clean enough. There are quirky maintenance updates that are needed in each room, but nothing that prevented us from having a peaceful nights sleep. The doors locked, the bed was comfortable, the water was hot and the AC worked. What more do you really want at this price? We booked this hotel with the intention of having somewhere to sleep, and not spending the entire day hanging out in our room. As far as a place to rest your head goes, this hotel is fine. I really don't understand the expectations from the other reviewers. Are you looking for the Ritz Carlton at a Motel 6 price? Our experience was satisfactory.
We booked for 2 nights and to be honest, it wasn't that bad. The room was ok and we were not bothered about the pool being closed.
The location did look a bit dodgy. Right by a gas station and there were different homeless people on the exit every day begging.
The staff were friendly and helpful, but what really made me angry, is the fact that the $100 deposit has still not gone back onto my bank card a week later and I am $100 down on my spending money. This is my money, NOT the hotel's to just hold onto like that. I've never experienced anything like this before from a hotel. It's bad policy. They ask you for the deposit, but don't tell you, when you'll get it back, if you ever do. I've heard they tell you it's 14 days, which is absolutely ridiculous.
If I had known this, I would not have stayed there.
I paid over $200 for a room that had a broken a/c on one of the hottest days of the year. It smelled awfully of mildew and barely blew out any air. When I called the front desk, no one answered. I left a message and never got a response. We slept horribly in the heat after a very long drive.
The room was dated, but spacious, and clean. The bed was comfortable. Jetted tub was relaxing after the drive, and we filled it with cold water which helped with the heat in the room.
My boyfriend is a veteran and we were traveling with a service dog. While at the hotel we were attacked by an off-leash pit bull who belonged to another guest. My boyfriend was bitten. We were also charged a $15 pet fee for a service dog, which I was too tired to argue about.
The area outside felt very unsafe and I was worried about my car being burglarized.
I talked to the front desk about the a/c in the morning and she took $30 off my bill but never an apologized or showed any surprise or concern.
I work in hospitality, and the way they handle things here is horrendous. Absolutely no care for the guest beyond price-gouging them.
DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!
We booked two rooms for two nights, and upon check in were told we only had a reservation for one. Good thing we had our booking information. Both bathrooms in the lobby were out of order, so we had to insist that we get one room while they found us another. The room we were given was already occupied. The desk people told us they could not guarantee that the next room wouldn’t be occupied. When my husband demanded a cancellation he was told we would not get a refund. This property was run down, the pool was out of order, the charge for incidentals was exorbitant and it is run by incompetency.
Got this place for breakfast and pool. Pool not working so call a business before to ask questions and make sure they have your needs/wants. Breakfast was great. Used the plunger the first night there which took the night staff a while to find one. The refrigerator had tomatoes still in it from the previous occupants. Located next to a Maverick gas station which is nice. Probably best to spend a little extra money to get something cleaner with updated furniture, flooring, etc. Won't be using this location again.
If I could give no stars I would. I drove an hour and a half after booking my room in advance for a business trip only to be told they had given my room away. I booked a king size bed with jetted tub and checked in at 3 pm, check in is at 3 pm, only to walk up stairs and down the dark dirty hall way to find 2 beds and a small bathroom, so I went down stairs to get the room I paid for only to be told by the extremely rude attendant she had given my room away. how could you give my room away already? When I asked for a refund the rude young “blond” behind the counter told me she couldn’t do that as she rolled her eyes and told me to contact my booking agency, after the rude treatment and the same person giving my room away I asked for corporates phone number and was given the same rude reply. The hotel looked super sketchy from outside and had meth heads hanging out in the lobby. I did not feel safe at all. Save your time and the frustration and pay the extra money to stay somewhere safe, clean and with good customer service
Solid 3 stars here. Hotel has a strict no early check in policy. We arrived into town at 2:30 (check in at 3) and there was no wiggle room to get our room early. I guess all rooms are magically clean at 3pm. Never experienced that before in a hotel.
Housekeeping did a great job of cleaning the room, but as others have said the place is run down. Mold in the bathroom, chips in the mirror and counter, and damage to the carpet (glad I packed slippers).
