Check-in here was like entering a curry house with the smell, the guy was still eating as he came out, spluttering bad English. |Had a ground floor, big room, comfy bed, parked right outside our room at this motel. As breakfast was right next to the curry house reception, we skipped it and went elsewhere. |The place could be good but needs some TLC. The tissue box was empty, there was just one plastic glass, the 2 pictures on the wall were identical, no coffee machine, first time ever.
Positive: The location is good. The outside of the hotel is well lit. The area is safe. Negative: There are not enough electrical plug-ins. The A/C unit needs upgrading. Very few breakfast selections.
This place is sketch, at best. The smoke detector was chirping upon entry. I tried to call the front desk, but the phone didn't work. When the manager came to check on it, he pulled down the smoke detector, replaced the battery, and it was still chirping. He left the smoke detector on the dresser and told me I could pull the battery if it kept chirping. It kept chirping, so i pulled the battery. The catch on the door had been kicked off at some point. The room was well beyond run down.
Positive: Location of it being on the main strip to food and gasoline. Plus access Negative: Our door to our room needs replaced or realigned. The bottom was pushed in and it had to much gap. It was letting in the heat, flies and bugs. The Wifey was scared a snake might come through it. So I had to stuff a towel in around the area on the bottom
Positive: Location. They did make up the room and change the Linens daily. Negative: Cobwebs on the ceiling. No Kleenex and hair dryer fell apart. Breakfast was extremely meager.
Looking at the views made be skeptical but I had to see for my self because everyone have choices. I checked in, greeted Bobby and his staff. My room request was fulfilled and the clerk and Bobby was really nice. The hotel in a good location and convenient to get to. I did not eat breakfast, because I was moving too fast. The cleaning Lady on day one , I did not get her name was very nice replaced towels and empty trashed and came back later and made bed after I left. She has great hospitality and was nice. The room I can not complaint about because I had no problem. The shower, TV, AC, refrigerator and Microwave, everything worked. I just checked out of this Hotel on Sunday Morning. . We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it. I called Bobby the Manager to let him know I was very well pleased. I will reserve a room again. Thanks Bobby and staff.
Great Hospitality and atmosphere, Bobby keeps the place looking ready for all his customers, Kudos to you Bobby and your wonderful wife Jessica from us Ohioans.
Rooms need a little bit more updating. I will say the cleaning personnel/s are doing an excellent job. Need USB lamps, USB clocks, or put some in the bedside stands in rooms for charging phones like other hotels does
