The owner is money hungry. My co workers and I stayed here for 6 days at the exact same rate each night the 7 night the owner was at the desk and he tried charging all of us $20 more a that night and said it was the weekend rate.....it was Thursday. We will never stay here again.
Very Comfortable, especially for the price! Mr. Jerry and Crystal were professional and polite. I was there during Beryl and they didn’t miss a beat with how busy it was. They also made time to help people with any questions or concerns. Plenty of channels with an hdmi connection in the charging station so you don’t have to reach between the wall and the television if you have a Roku or fire stick with a comfortable clean bed. I do recommend ????
Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Their breakfast has phenomenal. Waffles, cereal, muffins. Other places run out of breakfast quickly but they still had plenty even though we made it to the lobby towards the end of breakfast hours. The room was large, sorry comfy, and the pillows... The pillows were awesome. Room was clean and the price was cheap for the amenities it offered.
We’ve stayed here numerous times and always had the best experience. The last time we stayed it was my fiancé and our two kids. Picked up a towel from the bathroom and when unfolded a joint fell out. My kids were there and obviously that mean the maids didn’t check the towels or change it after last person stayed. We told Mr. Jerry at the desk and he was apologetic and we left it at that. My kids, fiancé and I were all asleep by midnight. At 7am the female at the desk was pounding on our door threatening to open it she didn’t know if people were dressed and was willing to just walk in. Needless to say she blamed us for the joint that was found in the towel but if it was ours why would we take it to the front desk??? She called the cops and kicked us out. As we were trying to leave she was yelling at my fiancé so he recorded her. She proceeded to slap his phone out of his hands. All of this in front of my kids. The hotels great but with us staying there multiple times a month with our kids you should know we aren’t a problem. Accusing us of such and assaulting a customer is down right wrong. Mr.jerry is a sweetheart but that lady is just beyond rude. Definitely won’t go back after such disgust. Whoever the owners are should probably get ahold of her before it happens again.
Work with the owners of this place many times. They're good people and really do a good job taking care of their place. They do their best to give good customer care and serve a lot of people that come for a long stints of time with their job.
Update. Parents came into town and didn't have enough room in our house to put them up comfortably and figure they needed a place to get away and have quiet time so called owners up and reserved a room. Parents were both impressed with the room and very pleased. It'll be a awesome visit thanks to these people
Update: these guys made sure they had rooms for lineman coming into town so that they had a place to sleep and were able to work getting our power back a lot quicker. So appreciative
Where to start. Well, the ladies in the front are kind and helpful.
But the owner is money hungry. We stayed in a hotel because we had to turn our water off at our home. First night there, the shower was freezing. Tried to call the front desk but our room phone would not properly work so I had to walk to the office. They said it was due to the city having to temporarily turning the water off but would be fixed. Once fixed I was able to wash my hair in the sink. Second night the power went out, not once but 2-3 times for over an hour each time. On the 3rd day while at work my husband called to tell me he had to take yet another cold shower. I called the office again. When the office called me back she said the owner was on his way to check on things. When I returned to the hotel my husband let me know the owner said all he could do was turn the gas up a bit. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and yet again was in another cold shower. Another trip to the office and was told I could be refunded for one night or I could be moved to a different room with no refund and be charge the $25/day pet fee. After being told if we stay the only accommodation would be moving to another room where the water would more than likely be cold, we decided to leave to another hotel. If you stay at this hotel, check behind the handle in the shower, I am pretty sure they have locks to keep the water from getting hot so the owner doesn't have to pay for more on his gas bill. I would not recommend this hotel due to the owner caring more about $$ than providing quality customer service.
The only thing good about the breakfast was the waffles. Coffee and juice were very watered-down.
Revising my last comment after another stay jerry was once again a treat to deal with friendly and welcoming I catch myself conversing with him every time best service I've had in years. Stayed in one of their newly upgraded rooms with a full kitchenette it was gorgeous with marble counters and crown molding throughout the room I'd hire a new painter but it was a very nice space. Clean and bug free.
Jerry at the front deak was friendly and welcoming excellent customer service. The room was nice crown molding and marble. Clean with plenty of outlets with built in usb's. The room however was crawling with cockroaches they were everywhere and one crawled on me in the night. Not pleasant everything else was fantastic just spray for the bugs ya'll.
