The front desk staff is very nice and helpful at check in time. The property is well clean and maintain. The rooms are very nice and upkeep. The floors are clean and the beds are made very neat, They have a lot of tv stations and the housekeeper staff is very nice. The staff is very professional and polite. The location is very safe and near a lot of stores, gas stations also. fast food places.. I enjoy my stay and I hope everybody else does.
America’s Best Value Inn in Stockbridge, GA, unfortunately, ranks among the worst hotels in terms of customer service. If you’re booking through a third-party website like Priceline, especially for an extended stay of more than two days, don’t count on receiving basic room service or clean towels during that time. The staff seems indifferent, and asking for necessities like fresh towels or any level of room maintenance appears to provoke irritation rather than assistance.
What makes matters worse is the feeling of blatant discrimination. If you’re of African descent or any other non-Arab ethnicity, expect to be treated poorly, with a noticeable lack of respect and hospitality. The staff’s dismissive attitude can turn what should be a relaxing stay into a frustrating experience. This is particularly shocking in the hospitality industry, where inclusivity and service are supposed to be a priority.
To top off the terrible service, I encountered a situation where I needed to extend my stay due to a major hurricane warning. Despite having already booked an extension through Priceline, the hotel refused to accept it, insisting that I pay their dramatically higher, walk-in rates. Their refusal to accommodate during a time of potential emergency added to the stress of an already unpleasant stay.
In the end, I had no choice but to check out early and find lodging at a nearby hotel, which treated me far better. If you’re considering staying here, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. The lack of basic customer service, combined with discriminatory treatment and price gouging during emergencies, makes this hotel one to avoid.
Positive: the location is okay. Negative: The staff is very rude and ridiculous. The rooms oh my goodness, I was better off sleeping outside! Most disgusting room I have ever been. Then the MOTEL staff was mad that I booked online instead of with them, made me pay an ADDITIONAL $50 to check in.
In a good location, but that is the only good thing that I have to say. Refrigerator had a leak and water was getting in the carpet!!! The curtain on the window was messed up!!!! Brought it to the attention of the night manager on duty and nothing was done to repair!!!! And no type of compensation for these issues were made!!! My first visit there and it was very disappointing!!!
Positive: "" Negative: There was a small roach that was crawling on the TV, the Wi-Fi doesn?t work too good and the blanket on the bed is thin and doesn?t keep you warm and unfortunately you can?t ask for extras cause they don?t give any.
Unpleasant checkin with stern clerk. Filthy room with unpleasant odor. Dirty floors, cobwebs, splattered stains on walls. Large clump of hair stuck to bottom of bathroom door. Filthy sink and tub. Roaches. No place to put clothes — no dresser, shelf or even a hanger rod.

Positive: The location wasn't completely awful Negative: The door wouldn't lock, the shower was nasty, and the fridge leaked water throughout the entire room. Went to speak with the manager and he was extremely rude towards me when all I asked for was to change rooms which he denied us for no reason.
