I stayed here with my two teenage children when my daughter was going to Camp Cowboy orientation. As we were walking to the room, I noticed tons of shoes that were out in the breezeway. They looked small like children’s shoes. The room was blazing hot and around 90° at the least. The room was filthy, bugs everywhere, not to mention random people walking around, that appeared to be staying there as well. I later found out that they are homeless. I immediately went down and asked for a refund. They would not give me a refund and we had just walked in the door. It was horrible. Thankfully, I did get a refund for the second night because I had paid for two nights. I called another local hotel and told them what was going on and where I was staying. They said oh my goodness get out of there as fast as you can. We grabbed our things and checked out and went to a different hotel. This place is dangerous, filthy, and needs to be shut down. I don’t think they have anyone checking on them to see the condition that this hotel is really in.
My experience was great with the front desk staff, I was greeted and felt welcomed. I paid $10 extra for my dog to stay. The room is very clean and smells fresh!
I think the owner and his wife are great people and they do have great attitudes, but I do feel like they need to take safety concerns, more seriously especially when certain situations happen. I explained to him that there were people that were in rooms around me that were stalking me and making me feel extremely uncomfortable. Last night I kept seeing someone walk past my door so I went and I looked out the peep hole and I seen a gentleman pressing his ear up against my door after that happened he then went into his room I heard him sounding like he was trying to find a way to come inside my room from the other side. I did make the owner aware of the situation and he did do a walk-through and I was able to call law-enforcement to get them to patrol the area. However, his current staff members Tim and his wife also failed to report that a customer that stays upstairs across from me made a comment about kidnapping two kids one of them being mine. I did address the fact that they should’ve contacted CPS in regards to this situation so that People could feel more safe because unfortunately earlier this week that same lady that made the comment was the same lady who attempted to kidnap my daughter after stealing a another customers vehicle. Thank God, I was able to stop everything before things got too dangerous.
I work as a welder on the road so I stay in a hotel Monday-Friday. 1st we chose Hwy Express week one bed bugs top and bottom floors, and mice are in rooms if ur on the bottom mostly.
Than we chose the La Quinta Inn not much better, after staying for 3 weeks found out I was double or triple charged every day. I myself and my boss tried to speak to manager Natalie but she just wanted to argue instead of fix the issue. Also we rarely had our beds made. Never got new sheets or towels unless requested even after 4 days straight. I'm pretty sure we were scammed double or triple the cost. Don't go there.
So for now I chose Americas Best Value. Immediately the front employee had a great attitude. I also spoke to I believe the owner who asked me if everything was ok. Which when I seen how the room was cleaner than the other two hotels and the front office was spotless I was happy. Seen no bugs and I looked of course for them.
219 was my room. And IL try to always ask for that room. Only thing I didn't like was they atleast upstairs don't have the best water pressure. Besides that no complaints. IL update over the next few months as I stay. Absolutely can't beat the price. For low water pressure being the only issue IL continue to hang my cowboy hat here during work weeks. Thank you America's Best!
i dont usually take the time out to do this bc i dont think it usually matters but on monday i paid for a week at tweaker ville where they tweakers living there for free bc their the house keeping who they give access to my room. they dont have a do not disturb sign bc i dont need it bc we dont use towels or their trash cans we bring our own, and bc i dont trust anyone espesially tweakers with my thousands of nike shoes and clothes just bc they do dont mean i do. we only stayed 3 nights bc the owners was digging in the trash taking pics and then sent the tweaker to bang on my door at 10pm while my kids were sleeping for school. told me my owner wants you hes bby the trash and i walk over to be yelled at like a child so i said im leaving this is insane i said what right does she have to bang on my door while my kids are sleeping and to go into my room when i dont trust her so me and my kids packed up the room took pics took picks bc their scantless. and as were doing this at 11 pm their tweaker room service womens was sweeping the side walk and then the street.
so if your a tweaker like them go right ahead and go home
but if your a normal person like me dont waste your money bc they have their tweakers best intdrest instead of their customer
BED BUGS! Graduation weekend is difficult to find housing and we ended up at this dump.
The property was pretty run down but we were open minded. We’re ok with old places but clean is a must!
As soon as we walked in the room I refused to put my stuff down. I insisted we check the beds before I touched anything. We pulled the sheets back to check the mattress, dead bug number 1. It was dead but ok. Checked bed number 2, pulled the sheets back and a live one was crawling on it. Also, another one crawling on top of the comforter. I mean there were already cigarette burns in the cover so a bug really was no surprise. I didn’t make it to the bathroom to see what kind of condition it was in. After less than 30 seconds in the room I escaped back to outside and sent the main person in our party to go get a refund while I attempted to find suitable housing for the weekend.
The manager was friendly but insisted that we SHOW him the bugs in order to get a refund. ABSOLUTELY NOT! I work in property management and know about bedbug infestation and I know what the bugs look like and I wasn’t about to step foot anywhere near it!
They issued a refund for only 1 of our 2 night booking.
This hotel is very nice , service is amazing , working all day in the heat can get exhausting, but coming back to a clean room and made bed everyday makes it all that more relieving , I recommend this hotel to anyone staying a while or passing through !
Americas Best Value Inn Stillwater is not your typical hotel, at this hotel they treat you like family and make you feel welcomed. The staff is amazing and friendly and the owner is as well they went over and beyond to make sure that me and my family were comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here and I will definitely be back in the future thank you Americas Best Value Inn Stillwater for all of your hard work and hospitality it’s greatly appreciated!
