About 50 cars packed into the car wash next door... not a bad thing if you appreciate cars, but the burnouts and revving of 4 cylinder & 6 cylinder engines was pathetic... a few of the V-8 engines sounded strong at 2am when they left. Made it difficult to get any good sleep when you have to wake up early. But, it was cheap, and they're pet friendly
Not my favorite. We had so many problems . Our first room had a bad springy mattress. We asked for another after unpacking. Then they moved us to a room w no bathroom door! Unexceptable! Good location.
I wish I could give no star... When we drove up people were working on cars, riding a dirt bike up and down the parking lot. Had booked 2 rooms and several children with us and got kicked out of the pool because they said No outside guests weren't allowed well we didn't have outside.Guess we had our children with us. The hallway smelled of lots of bug spray. And again, I can't even describe once I got into the room, the smell of that room, it was a musty, wet something. I would've complained, but we had nowhere else to go with all the Children on such short notice and we didn't want to get kicked out.
This is without a doubt the worst customer service I have ever had in my life which makes the name of the company AMERICAS BEST VALUE truly laughable. So to make a long story short a couple of my family members and myself (which includes three children) are going on the third day and night that their outdoor pool hasn't been open because it was extremely dirty even though their website says it is open. Let's be clear I'm not upset about the pool I understand things happen being that I'm a business owner myself. My issue lies with the simple fact that they wouldn't give us any compensation whatsoever not even an extra night to make up for the pool we paid for the entire weekend not being available with three angry kids and when you're in the customer service industry that is just simply unacceptable and quite frankly sad.
This was hands down the worst hotel experience in my life. To begin upon entry to the room the main lights did not work so we had to walk in the dark to find the wall lights. One the lights were on we realized that the bathroom floor had standing water, the tub faucet had rotted away from the wall, the toilet seat had what appeared to be a large "skid mark", and the tank lid was filthy. The trash can had not been emptied, and was full, the hairdryer was missing but the base was still on the wall. There was no alarm clock in the room, nor any chairs. The Queen beds each had 2 flat pillows. After my children fell asleep I noticed that the ac unit had stopped working and was flashing an error code, I restarted it and it would work again for maybe an hour and stop again, this went on all night and morning. I went to take a shower and realized that there were 2 wash cloths, a floor mat and 1 towel. All of which were not clean. The biggest towel had mascara all over it. I'm the morning I traveled downstairs to the laundry where I was greeted by roaches on the wall. I decided to return to my room and on the way back I noticed that the hotel thermostat was set at 78 degrees. The building was humid and smelled like feet, and an ashtray. We went down to breakfast and the room seemed clean, but upon inspection, none of the containers had been washed in quite some time, they had a film on them all. Prior to checking out I stripped the beds to help housekeeping only to find a giant 2-3 inch wide burn hole in one mattress, and stains on the other. The pillows were also quite yellow which was no surprise due to their age. There were several people in the building that appeared to be under the influence of hard drugs, one would assume they call the hotel home, which is to expected, but the lack of staff presence makes the other customers quite uncomfortable and vulnerable. The pool was out of order, the elevator was also out of order. The price of this room was nearly $100.00, and I have yet to receive my $100.00 security deposit back. I was not expecting the Hilton, but this was downright disrespectful, and a health and safety hazard. I did not voice my concerns in person out of fear of being asked to leave and nowhere to go with my small children in a city far from home. I am requesting at least a partial refund due to the extremely poor conditions, conditions possibly worse than a roadside roach motel. This was our first mini vacation ever, and it was mostly ruined by this experience.
The check in process was quick. My family and I were on the third floor. As we entered our room we immediately checked the beds, as we do at every place we stay. One of the beds had not been changed. They did change the bed when I mentioned it. It had at least three different types of hair and small stains of blood. The next set of sheets were better but they need new ones. The pillows were also very flat. The walls were also filthy in the sleeping area and in the bathroom. There was a physical handprint above the toilet. The bathroom door had a hole. The door to the room did not dead bolt. It only had a cheap chain lock. The floor was crawling with ants. I ended up being bit a few times by them. We entered the pool are which is very ran down. Chairs are broken and the gate. The pool has a chlorine floater floating around in it. There were a few addicts and homeless people sitting around the pool gate. One lady was checking another guys body for bugs. Then there was a couple watching my daughter swim and it was ver nerve wracking for my family. This hotel has a bunch of people living in it and is very ran down. After seeing what we did while there, we felt it was unnecessary to report because we were 100% sure someone else did at some point and nothing came from it. Then after coming here to see others negative feedback, it proved it. Hoping we get our deposit back as we made sure to pick up after ourselves before we left.
Also, you guys should be super ashamed for allowing families to come in there with children. Especially knowing the conditions and environment of this hotel. Including the drugs. Would you allow your children to stay there?
HORRIBLE!!!! It's got a funky musky smell for 1. Soon as you walk in the room carpet looks grungy and the MATTRESS was Lumpy at 1st site. When u sit on it.....it's like sitting on a sheet of ply wood! They got the nerves to demand a $100 deposit as well!!!!??? ????????????????????
Most disgusting hotel ever had to book. Lobby was dirty. First room given to me and my boyfriend was half way cleaned. We went to lobby to request a different room. Second room smelled absolutely horrible, the bathroom ceiling was on the floor and there were dead cockroaches! I would never recommend this place! I would rather pay a few more bucks for a much better quality.
I see all these owner responses but yet doesn’t do anything to change or fix the situations lol. Pathetic.
